New 2017 Chrysler models available at Miami Lakes ChryslerWith only three 2017 Chrysler models in the lineup, the Chrysler 200, 300 and Pacifica, all the new model year vehicles have been carefully designed from the inside out. Here’s a quick look at the new 2017 Chrysler models and their engine’s fuel economy, safety and interior.

First thing’s first, we all want to know what’s under the hood. The standard engine for the Pacifica is a 3.6-liter V6 24-valve VVT engine. That’s “VVT” for “variable valve timing,” a process that optimizes engine power and fuel efficiency, lending to 287 horsepower and fuel economy of 18/28 MPG city/highway for the Pacifica.

The Chrysler 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum will have a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, delivering 363-horsepower. All three 300 trims have an EPA rated fuel economy of 16/25 MPG city/highway.

The 200 is powered by a 184-horsepower 2.4-liter I4 MultiAir engine. As the smallest car with the smallest engine, it has the best fuel economy of the three models with an average of 23 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway.

Safety is always a great commodity to explore when it comes to family cars, and Chrysler is not skipping any beats. Building on its “Top Safety Pick” credentials, the 2017 Chrysler 300 has a 360-degree perspective made available by SafetyTec Plus Group’s Full-speed Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus with Full Stop, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Blind-spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path detection.

The 2017 Chrysler 200 isn’t being left out, now offering over 60 available safety and security features, including a rear backup camera, Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection, Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus, LaneSense Lane Departure Warning-Plus with Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning-Plus, and Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist.

The 2017 Pacifica also offers these safety and security features and more. All three models have the standard warranties – a basic limited warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles, a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and a 5-year/100,000-mile rust-through warranty.

The 2017 Chrysler 200 and 300 both have their group of entertainment and convenient features that make them comfortable, but the Pacifica is the real winner bringing home the awards. Complete with Stow ‘n’ Go seating, an available built-in vacuum, easy tilt seats, hands-free sliding doors, a three-pane panoramic sunroof, and more.

Chrysler has delighted its customers with distinct designs and innovation for nearly 100 years. If these highlights are any inclination of its future, we can’t wait. If you are looking for one of the new 2017 Chrysler models, you can search Miami Lakes Automall’s Chrysler inventory here.
