Chevrolet is preparing the 2022 Camaro to come out with perks that would satisfy any pony car enthusiasts. The 6.2-Liter LT1 V8 powertrain is intense and offers high-octane strength that makes owners rush to jump back into its comfortable seating. The popularity of the Chevrolet brand extends to the arena known as the Great American Race, aka the Daytona 500. Some surprises will be showcased at this year’s Daytona race. Looking to learn more about all the perks coming to the Chevy brand?
The 2022 Chevrolet Camaro Makes Debut
The 2022 Chevy Camaro brings out the best in the Chevrolet brand. There will be a freshly added color for owners to choose from with the addition of the Rapid Blue exterior color. The debut of the Camaro in Rapid Blue will take place at this year’s Daytona 500. The price point for the color is not listed yet, but considering how attractive it looks, owners will opt to add it. Chevy has previously priced the paint color option like this one at $495. We expect the Corvette and Silverado to offer this color along with the Camaro. The plan for General Motors is to offer the Camaro for only so long as a gasoline-powered vehicle. The goal is to ramp up its electric-vehicle count to every single vehicle sold by the Chevy brand by 2035. The technology of the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro has been revamped to include wireless capabilities for owners including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 7-inch touchscreen.
Is the Camaro Ready To Surge Again?
In more recent months, we’ve seen the popularity rise for the Camaro. In the 4th quarter of 2019, Camaro saw a climb of 3% growth and sold over 7,500 Camaros to close out the last quarter before the COVID-19 outbreak took out the Camaro sales in 2020. However, the 2021 Camaro did not reach the sales goals of General Motors. This is why the next model year (2022 model year) will contain more to offer. Originally, the Chevrolet brand was rumored to offer a 55th Anniversary Edition, but that does not seem to be a possibility. The 2022 Camaro starts at $35,000 MSRP (Plus destination fee).

Expect Chevrolet to produce the latest Corvette lineup normally now that their plants are back and running like normal. The factory responsible for making the Chevrolet Corvette is producing 800-850 cars a week. While normally at this point in time they would be producing the next model year (in this case, the 2021 model year), Chevrolet is still producing the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette entered its production phase for the 2020 model year with a slow start to the production run. Then COVID-19 hit and the setback took away months of valuable time to create and offer the vehicle. However, now Chevrolet is back to offer its first-ever mid-engine Corvette.
What A Year It Has Been For the 2020 Corvette
After overcoming a United Automobiles Workers (UAW) strike, the perils of COVID-19, we’ve learned the 2020 Corvette is being made safely at the Bowling Green, Kentucky Chevrolet plant. The production of the 2020 model year will last through this year with the following 2021 Corvette to begin early in 2021. The shutdown did allow time for suppliers to create a surplus before Chevrolet started the Corvette production again. Keep in mind, prior to the pandemic, Chevrolet had actually started a second shift to help meet the demands for the beloved Chevy sports car. There are rumors about what the production lineup will look like for 2022 and 2023, but as far as the present and the immediate future, Chevrolet is going to complete what it started with the all-new generation Corvette. The “C8” will have its run finished and the new 2021 Corvette will have to wait its turn.
What Comes After the 2020 Corvette Production Run?
Chevrolet has revealed what to expect with the 2021 Corvette, including two new body colors including Red Mist Tintcoat and Silver Flare, but let us also remind our readers about all the perks awaiting them if should opt for the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette. Customers today appreciate a good, solid workhorse pickup today more than at any point in time. The fastest-growing segment in the automotive industry belongs to the pickup truck market and the competition is fierce. Chevrolet has plans to win over more customers with its impressive power and strength for the upcoming 2021 model year. It’s already been a great year for the Silverado and even more good news is coming. The new 2021 Chevrolet Silverado HD boasts the power of unmatched performance thanks to its 36,000-pound maximum towing rating. That remarkable rating was a major goal for the Chevy brand and we have more details as to all the improvements customers can expect for the forthcoming Silverado HD.
Stronger Than the Competition
No other pickup on the market can match this full-size pickup’s sheer towing ability. Up 500 more pounds of towing capabilities from the previous year, Chevrolet and General Motors have worked on offering a standout, clear cut choice for customers. The 2021 Silverado 3500 HD is that vehicle that will push the envelope as Chevy hopes to inspire more customer confidence that in the brand. To make towing easier than ever, the Silverado HD carries a new towing-assistance system that will provide eight cameras that offer as many as 15 different unique views for drivers to monitor to ensure a precise experience.
More Perks of the 2021 Silverado HD
The price of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD is $35,900 MSRP (Plus destination fee). Owners will be able to embrace its 6.6-Liter V8 engine or the diesel variation of the same powertrain. Customers can keep in mind the Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD has better towing ratings than the Ram 3500 HD and Ford F-350 Super Duty. Options customers can enjoy the choices between a regular cab, double cab, and crew cab. The wheel sizes range from 17 inches up to 20 inches. Drivers will love the capacity to handle nearly any job and enjoy the comfort of the Silverado HD.
Don’t forget, as with all Silverado pickups, the newest features including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available. The future of Silverado will gain more features for the 2022 model year, but for today we can anticipate customers falling in love with the upcoming new 2021 Chevrolet Silverado lineup. Owners will have more versatility than ever before using the configurable tailgate can be lowered down in three different places. With the quick hit on the key fob or on the tailgate buttons, the truck bed drops down like a regular tailgate, with another push the bed can have a cutout in the middle, or retract, as well as expand the bed length to serve as a bed stop. The configuration allows for the entire midsection to be lowered down. There’s a setup that allows two-step access over the bed.
A new crop of pickups has added some functionality to the truck bed, but not quite like the Chevrolet Silverado provides. For instance, the 2021 Ram 1500 will offer a split tailgate, however, there are half as many customizable options. The 2021 Ford F-150 will provide an available tailgate (that costs extra) and it also doesn’t have as many configurations as well.
Enjoy the 2021 Silverado Pickup
The 2021 Silverado has received some strength in its towing capacity even with the smaller engines. The 2.7-Liter turbo-4 in rear-wheel drive raises its tow rating 2,500 pounds to 9,300 pounds with the crew cab and the short 5-foot-8 bed. A regular cab with a long bed has a towing capacity of 9,600 pounds. The cooling performance surpassed expectations, allowing it to tow more, Chevy has claimed. The 3.0-Liter turbodiesel inline-6 now has gained a boost in towing capacity of up to 9,500 pounds in rear-wheel-drive models. The towing increase comes from a rear axle that was more durable than expected, Chevy explained.
Like the 3.0-Liter turbodiesel in the 2021 Sierra, the 2021 Silverado turbo diesel is going to see a lower price of about $1,500 less than the previous year. Chevrolet touts its diesel engine as the most fuel-efficient engine with an estimated maximum highway range of 668 miles with best-in-class 23 city mpg and 33 highway mpg for all 2WD models. The 3.0-Liter inline-six powertrain gives owners 460 lb-ft of torque with 277 horsepower.
Upgraded Technology Is Very Apparent
To make life easier on those owners who will use the advanced trailering technology, an available feature provides a camera system that can display vehicles in the blind spots of the trailer. Owners can trigger a jack-knife alert as well. The camera system has an option that displays guidelines and open visibility when reversing a trailer into place. A cargo bed zoom helps owners ease onto a gooseneck hitch or fifth-wheel hitch. Driver assistance features can be added to base trims, and other features are available.
The standard perks of the 2021 Silverado 1500 include wireless smartphone connectivity come for all mid-grade trims and above. The 2021 Silverado goes on sale this fall. There are also features that are offered for midrange trims that extend the luxurious features that come standard for the higher trims. Some of those features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The future of Silverado will gain more features for the 2022 model year, but there are many days ahead before that one comes. To get a closer look at the wonderful Silverado 1500 pickup, we are ready to help our customers drive one today.

Everyone who loves the Chevrolet Silverado can attest to its strength and comfortable ride; that’s what has helped Chevy regain its spot as the second-best seller of pickups in 2020. For those that are keeping score, Chevrolet has only had one end of the year finish that didn’t see Chevrolet finish in the top two spots. (Ram just got lucky in 2019!) Well, the news for the upcoming 2022 Chevrolet Silverado shows major updates that will continue to shape the pickup towards what owners are hoping for. The latest spy shots show a similar Silverado that looks agile, but as powerful as ever. The changes can be spotted with a new tailgate and other updates. Let us break down the upcoming changes for the famed Silverado pickup truck.
Changes Coming To the 2022 Silverado
Cars.com gave high marks for the Silverado earlier this year, but we’re certain that 2021 will show the Chevrolet brand taking home even more recognition for its engineering. It could be thanks to the reshaping of the vehicle that includes an all-new fascia and a new two-tiered lighting setup that is found on the 2022 model year. The design of the exterior includes a new thin LED accent and daytime running lights at the top of the fascia, with the primary headlight element mounted slightly lower. The cab of the Silverado looks to be the same as the previous model year, but a new bed step might be added from its 2020 Silverado heavy-duty models.
More On the Silverado Refresh
The latest spy photos do not show the interior, but we expect changes inside. The all-new fourth-generation Silverado came out in 2019, but its interior was lackluster compared to the competition for some buyers. The consumers will always be right and Chevrolet listened to its base to revamp the cockpit. GM Authority has said the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado will gain a revised center stack similar to the all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban have received. We will have to wait and see how the Silverado looks inside, but from what we are hearing, we are sure its going to appease the fans of the Chevy brand, as every great vehicle refresh does.

General Motors has made new plans to offer customers a new 350 cubic-inch small-block V8 crate powertrain. Any owner that is looking to add more power and strength to replace an engine can opt for this new crate. GM has this crate box to serve as an option for trucks, vans, and SUVs built from 1987 to 2002. Updated with CNC machining, renewed part designs, and a warranty, it’s set to be the go-to replacement for owners searching for a new engine and years of service ahead. While General Motors and Chevrolet are planning on expanding their EV lineup, they have this 350 small block option for those who want to keep older vehicles running.
More On the 350 Small Block Engine
General Motors has built the 350 small block before, going back multiple years and generations of different vehicles. The engine was produced originally back in 1967 for the Chevy Camaro. The 350 small block would end up becoming an engine option across the entire Chevy lineup. The engine would eventually become updated and modernized. The Chevrolet’s current crate engines actually still take after the 350 small block as a base engine. Since 2005, GM has produced and sold over a quarter-million 350 crate engine to various companies and buyers. The design is over 40 years old today, but if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. This is the testament to the strength of GM’s engineering.
Gain the Power of the 350 Crate Sooner Than You Think
Concerning the crate offered today, it is an updated design that is entirely brand-new; the powertrain is not remanufactured or refurbished in any way. CNC machined block castings and cylinder heads, as well as forged steel crankshafts, new valve covers, new oil pans, and new timing covers. Customers have the choice of three trims available that will work across various GM vehicles including a standard Gen 1 for trucks, vans, and SUVs built from 1987 to 1995, a Gen 1e LD for light-duty trucks from 1996 to 2002, and a Gen 1e HD for heavy-duty trucks from 1996 to 2002. Keep in mind, every new 350 block crate will come with a standard 3-year/100,000-mile warranty; whichever comes first. GM hasn’t announced the pricing, but has revealed the engines are available to order through dealerships starting in August 2020.

2020 has not been a banner year for automotive sales, but the Chevrolet Silverado has rebounded quite well from last year. The Chevrolet brand has finished second to XYZ so far through the first two quarters of 2020. Chevrolet sold a grand total of 267,166 Silverado pickups from January through June this year. The light-duty Silverado was more popular over the heavy-duty models, with over 200,000 of those sales going to the light-duty variant. Surprisingly, the Silverado saw higher sales in some parts of the United States when compared to the same stretch in 2019. Let’s talk about the plans for Chevrolet given its growth so far this year.
Breaking Down the Numbers of the Silverado Sales
The good news for the Chevy brand is its rival brand Ram saw an 18 percent decline over the first six months of 2020. Ram sold 246,253 pickups, exactly 20,913 models less than Chevrolet. This would not be a surprise to Silverado owners. Even Ford has seen an 18 percent drop from last year. That news is definitely a shock as Ford just introduced its 14th generation Ford F-150 model. But, the growth of the Chevrolet Silverado might see new peaks and sustaining its popularity going into the future.
Chevy Expands Safety Features Across All Vehicles
Where will Chevrolet take the Silverado for the 2021 model year and beyond? The interior is rumored to gain an update with a mid-cycle enhancement and refresh coming to the full-size pickup. The safety features will see enhancements including standard features across all trims. Chevrolet lists these features as Active Safety features that include Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Forward Collision Alert.
Further down the line, some reports suggest the 2022 Silverado might gain the same center stack as the all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban offer. Chevrolet is planning to expand its safety features across the board of its lineup, including the 2021 Malibu. While we wait for the news to break regarding the 2021 Silverado debuting at dealerships, we have plenty of new 2020 Silverado models ready to go at Miami Lakes Automall.

The 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe was made by engineers to offer customers more than the Tahoe ever has before. There was a reason to build the next-generation Tahoe to be a fully versatile SUV; that’s what the market expects today. One thing that many customers want is the ability to offer guests comfort, but the flexibility to provide more than lots of space. The goal by Chevrolet was to push the boundaries to present drivers with the ability to take the Tahoe off traditional roads and give the owners of the vehicle more. This is how the new Air Ride Adaptive Suspension option, which is available on High Country and Z71 trim levels, came to be.
More On the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe
Now, we’re getting a look at how the 2021 Tahoe air suspension works in a new video made by Chevrolet, showing off the all-new Tahoe. Readers can learn about the process the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe undergoes to help make the air suspension work properly. There are exactly four modes that are offered with the 2021 Tahoe air suspension system. Owners have the choice to modify the vehicle ride height to fit the conditions, with a maximum raise up to four inches. The system is officially known as Air Ride Adaptive Suspension.
The Maximum Ground Clearance setting lifts the new Chevrolet Tahoe to assist and navigate any trails without issue, quickly raising the vehicle with the simple turn of a knob. Allowing the vehicle to go down to normal ride height is quite simple with a turn of the knob, and the suspension will go back down to the standard ride height. Drivers are able to enjoy their vehicle more so than ever before with the convenience of air suspension. Adapting to new trails easily will make driving easier.
Further Features of the Air Suspension
Drivers gain the perks of the 2021 Tahoe air suspension that will adjust the ride height on the highway to improve fuel efficiency. Owners can raise the suspension to make it easier to properly align with a trailer hitch, or lower the suspension if needed. The automatic suspension features automatic load leveling at all four corners. The engineers really did their part to allow the technology to provide drivers with an easy way to adapt to driving. The all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is built on the GM T1 vehicle architecture and includes a brand new independent multilink rear suspension design. The 2021 Tahoe air suspension system is not expected to be ready until late in 2020. For those that can’t wait to ride a new Chevrolet vehicle, or a pre-owned Chevrolet, we are ready to make the process an easy one.

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette has transformed into an instant classic seemingly overnight. It has become an exclusive sports car with only 2,700 vehicles built so far due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This has allowed the brand new Corvette to undergo a true transformation. The prestige of the eighth-generation Corvette has grown because production will not resume for an unknown set of time. A resolved strike with the United Auto Workers (UAW) came just before Coronavirus would again slow down the rate the “C8” would be made. As a result, the slowdown for the production has helped make the 2020 Corvette that much more exclusive.
Good News For Chevrolet Fantastics
Despite the slowdown of production, the good news is that there will be a continued run for the 2020 Corvette (eventually) set to add a much larger set of availability. The bad news is that we don’t know when, but we currently have some Chevrolet Corvette models and ready to go for those who want to drive the Corvette. Keep in mind that to start 2020, Chevrolet was able to begin building the new Corvette in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Production began on February 3, 2020. The mid-engined Corvette finally began rolling off the assembly line, customers began taking delivery, but its launch derailed again when General Motors started to shut down its North American factories to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. Bowling Green built its final Corvette on March 20, according to Consumer Guide.
Where the 2020 Corvette Left Off
The place where the Corvette models are made is located in Bowling Green. Corvette Assembly plant manager revealed in an interview that exactly just 2,700 examples of the 2020 Corvette were built between February 3 and March 20, 2020. A spokesperson for Chevrolet told Autoblog that GM “will continue to build 2020 Corvette Stingrays when the plant resumes production.” So the total number of 2020 Corvettes is likely to increase, but we don’t imagine the increase of the production will grow exponentially. And that means the 2020 will become one of the rarest regular-production models in Corvette’s history.
Corvette Sales At the Start of Each Decade
With less than 3,000 models moved, let’s remind customers how many Corvette models are sold. Chevrolet sold 10,261 units of the Corvette way back for the 1960 model year, 17,316 for the 1970 model year, and a whopping 40,614 in the 1980 model year. Sales for the 1990, 2000, and 2010 model years moved 23,464, 33,682, and 12,194, respectively. And, 34,822 seventh-generation cars were made during the 2019 model year, with 2,953 ZR1 models powered by a 755-horsepower V8 engine were sold. General Motors has stopped taking orders for the 2020 model. General Motors previously announced the production of the 2021 Corvette will start on September 1st, 2020.
“Further information will be forthcoming from Chevrolet regarding the handling of sold 2020 model year [cars] that we will be unable to accept, and the creation of a replacement 2021 model year sold order,” the company told its dealers. This suggests customers waiting for a 2020 Corvette may end up with a 2021 model instead.

A long and storied history between automotive rivals Ford and Chevrolet dates back decades ago as these two brands have pioneered the way for other muscle cars to end up on the roads. The Ford Mustang and Camaro both debuted in the mid-1960s, forever changing the automotive landscape. These pony cars are still cherished today among buyers around the world. As muscle cars have become more intelligent and in demand than ever before. What does the landscape look like in 2020 between these two well-known and respected cars?
2020 Camaro Offers High-Level Perks
The new 2020 Chevy Camaro has gone through transformations that have pushed forward new innovation since 1966. The current sixth-generation Camaro provides owners with a slew of new features new to the 2020 model. Some of the upgrades include wireless charging pad for smartphones, a teen driver setting to restrict functions of the vehicle when a teen is driving, plus an available rear camera mirror as well. The perks of the Camaro extends to managing the performance of the vehicle with Chevrolet’s Performance Data Recorder that is available, along with modern perks like 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities. While some muscle cars have gotten smaller in the past decade or so, the Camaro went from a compact car from the 1960s to 2002 to a mid-size car beginning in 2010.
The Ford Mustang now offers an 8-inch screen and offers a voice-controlled navigation setup similar to the one found in the Chevrolet Camaro. Customers can choose to add features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection in either vehicle for an additional cost. The difference between these vehicles comes with elements under the hood.
What Are the Powertrain Differences?
The base 2020 Ford Mustang includes a turbocharged, 2.3-Liter four-cylinder engine that makes 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Currently, owners will not be able to have a Mustang with all-wheel-drive. Mustang owners get a jump from the four-cylinder powertrain up to the V8 with no V6 option. The V8 engine found in the Mustang
gets 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, but there is no chance of an automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the base Camaro models come with a turbocharged, 2.0-Liter four-cylinder engine that supplies 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission come standard, while an eight-speed automatic is offered at an extra cost. There is a 3.6-Liter V6 with 335 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque engine available, as the Camaro is standard with a six-speed stick, but it can be added with an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet provides more options than Ford.
The Camaro SS trim supplies the very powerful direct-injected 6.2-Liter V8 engine that hits 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft. of torque, fast enough to go from 0 to 60 mph in just a mere 4.1-seconds. The Z1L trim gets a supercharged version of the 6.2-Liter V8 powertrain that provides an owner with 650 horsepower and a whopping 650 lb-ft of torque. Both V8-powered models come with a six-speed manual transmission, with a 10-speed automatic transmission at an extra cost. Both vehicles supply the same estimated fuel ratings of 25 mpg combined city and highway rating. In the various measures of vehicle strength, as well as technology, the Chevrolet Camaro has proven itself against the rival Ford Mustang.
Which Vehicle Is More Expensive?
The difference between the two must be cost? Even with all the perk afforded to the Camaro, there is yet another check in the box for the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. Buyers can be happy knowing the starting price is at $25,000 MSRP for a Camaro is a whole $1,670 less than the starting price of the 2020 Ford Mustang.
