Chevrolet Introduces Remarkable Electric E-10 Pickup Concept

E-10 Miami Lakes Automall

Chevrolet has introduced a retro-looking pickup that invokes images of decades past, yet is something out of the future with its zero-emissions drive. The E-10 is a low-riding truck that gives off the appearance of a totally clean hot rod look. The truck is sleek and quite a sight to see. Chevy has really introduced something cool and a concept that has already received fanfare for its innovation and tight design. Bolt EV tech has been added to this new concept by Chevy and made its debut at the 2019 SEMA show in Las Vegas on November 5th, 2019.

Origins of the E-10 Concept

The E-10 concept is named from the crate engine it’s origins began out of. The “eCrate” powertrain is actually two electric motors with dual 400-volt battery and a traditional automatic transmission joined to it. The electric motors can be found in other Chevy products, but just not a dual-engine setup. The engineers A fitted tonneau cover covers the truck bed. This eCrate is new and it is not known if this will become something Chevrolet adds into their production vehicles going forward. This E-10 concept is no pushover for horsepower. The remarkable vehicle has a grand total of 450 horsepower and has a quick burst that allows drivers to reach 60 mph in about 5 seconds. The E-10 carries a quarter-mile time of a solid 13 seconds and is allowing audiences to re-imagine what it could be like to drive an electric pickup.

Best Highlight From This All-New Chevrolet Pickup Concept

The vehicle is already able to provide drivers with zero emissions, so no gasoline is needed. Chevrolet made sure to include two battery packs as a way to allow for simultaneous charging and a larger driving range to enjoy the vehicle wherever the owner wants to go. The E-10 provides three speakers that project a track and touring version of the LS7-powered V8 sound found in the Camaro. The Emulator in the concept can adjust the sound in the vehicle to the transmission’s gears to bring back that famous, old school hot rod sound. Hearing an electric vehicle purr loudly might seem odd, but the aesthetic really helps make the entire process of this electric concept complete. After all, if a vehicle is going to look as sweet as this one does, resembling the hot rod background, surely any driver would want to make it known on the road.

Newest 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Packages Have Arrived

Midnight Miami Lakes Automall

Chevrolet has some special edition Silverado 1500 pickups coming soon. Two unique packages are being released, the return of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Midnight and Rally editions, first shown at the State Fair of Texas. The 2020 Silverado 1500 Midnight Edition has an all-black theme complete with its blacked-out 18-inch wheels, exhaust tips, doorsteps, badges, and a black grill. The Midnight Edition will be available for the LT Trail Boss as well as the Custom Trail Boss trims. The 2020 Silverado is already an off-road capable pickup, but this appearance package adds a solid and defined look to the latest 1500. Let’s go over the differences between these two packages returning to the Silverado 1500 line-up.

Inside the Silverado Midnight Edition

Under the hood of the Silverado LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition, owners gain the 6.2-Liter V8 powertrain that equips 420 horsepower and a solid 460 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission and adds LED headlamps with dark bezels and stand daytime running lights. If owners opt for the Customer Trail Boss Midnight Edition, the choice of two powertrain options includes the 5.3-Liter V8 engine that carries a six-speed automatic transmission or they can opt for the larger 6.2-Liter V8 engine tied to the 10-speed automatic transmission. The Midnight Edition is a sleek looking package that has defined look customers hope to secure. The other Special Edition trim is equally as impressive with a wider color scheme for the body.

Everything About the Rally Edition

In regards to the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Rally Edition, owners looking for a modern urban appearance can find the special edition for the Custom and RST trims. Multiple bodycolor choices are offered included Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White or black. The Silverado RST and the Rally Edition have the body-colored grille with black stripes on the tailgate and over the hood. Black badging, black bowties, black exhaust tips with black 22-inch wheels. The Custom Rally Edition has black 20-inch wheels. Each Rally edition offers the 2.7-Liter turbo-four powertrain paired to an eight-speed automatic with the RST Rally Edition that can have the 5.3-Liter V8 or 6.2-Liter V8 engine. Thinking about adding the new 2020 Silverado 1500? Don’t worry about where to go to find them.

Future Plans For Chevrolet Brand’s Upcoming Electric Vehicles

Bolt Miami Lakes Automall

General Motors has begun to expand its EV reach. GM has supported the Chevrolet brand with better EV vehicles like the upcoming 2021 Chevy Bolt and an unnamed electric pickup that will be built with GM’s $9 billion proposals to build a new production site. These investments are higher than GM had originally planned with an increase of $2 billion added, mostly due to creating its new, all-electric full-size truck. The competition of the electric pick-up landscape is expected to change with brands like Tesla looking to introduce their own EV pickup. General Motors is ready to add new electric horses into the EV race early next decade and it will start with the revamped Chevy Bolt EV.

Updates For the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV

Currently, the 2020 Chevy Bolt EV is set to debut this fall. A new battery platform will be added as a massive mid-generation refresh that has been set for next year for the Bolt, but that doesn’t mean the newest Bolt isn’t impressive. The 2020 Chevy Bolt has seen improvements with upgrades in the design and improvement of fuel economy. The 2020 Bolt increased 21 miles in range, but best of all there wasn’t any price increase. Chevrolet has stated that the Bolt can now charge at a rate that supplies owners with “90 miles in 30 minutes” of a charge. Chevy has increased the charge rate to 80kW and this would push the Bolt charging rate higher than a lot of the competition. The 2020 Bolt has a 259-mile range and has a 128 city and 110 highway MPGe with its 200 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque provided by its electric motor. The newest models are expected to push past 100kW charging with these upgrades expected for the 2021 Bolt EV. For now, the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV, in its fourth year of production, is priced at an attractive $37,500 MSRP (Plus destination fee).

Success and Future Plans for Chevy EVs

General Motors has sold over 200,000 electric vehicles between their new brands, the Bolt and Volt. They have sold roughly 20,000 Bolt EVs per year, including 23,000 in 2017. The Bolt is expected to receive enhancements with the interior for the 2021 model that includes a revised dashboard, updated seats, and a different exterior style. The plans for the Chevrolet pickup are set for 2021 as well with Chief Executive Mary Barra adding earlier this year that they also plan on raising their EV lineup to include 20 models by 2023. Ambitious goals, but General Motors knows the future is electric. Want to drive a new electric vehicle? With our help at Miami Lakes Automall, we can make this a reality!

New Midnight and Rally Edition 2020 Silverado Pickups Announced

Midnight Miami Lakes Automall

What have polling groups decided customers are looking for in the pickup market? The theme hasn’t changed much in recent years as those polls have let large automotive companies know buyers want sleek, bold styling in their pickup options. General Motors has debuted the 2020 Silverado at the State Fair of Texas, a month-long event that offers rides, food, livestock shows and stages like the Chevrolet main state that hosts the newest and upcoming vehicles. Chevrolet has introduced its new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Midnight and Rally Edition pickups. Each model will have a unique flair and design in its appearance. Drivers can already expect great fuel economy with a Silverado, but these two options are quite the lookers as well.

The Midnight Edition Silverado Is Here

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Midnight Edition provides owners with a two-inch suspension lift and supplies drivers with a more adventure-ready pickup thanks to the Z71 Off-Road Package. Included in the package is Rancho mono-tube shocks, 18-inch black-painted wheels wrapped in Goodyear Duratrac off-road tires, automatic locking rear differential, and solid skid plates that will protect the undercarriage of the Silverado. The appearance is a striking black color throughout with a darker look thanks to its grille, bumper, exhaust tips, badges and side steps being black. Only red tow hooks and a small difference of color can be found in the exterior.

The Midnight Edition is available for customers to purchase for both the LT Trail Boss and Custom Trail Boss trims. Drivers that opt for the LT Trail Boss are supplied a 6.2-Liter V8 that nets 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For drivers that want to go for the Custom Trail Boss trim, they are treated to a strong 5.3-Liter V8 engine that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Silverado Rally Edition By Chevy Also Arrives

For those that want a touch of color, more than the bold black look of the Midnight Edition Silverado can side with the Silverado Rally Edition. The wide range of body colors includes Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, and Black as well. Black stripes are added along the hood as well as the tailgate. This special edition includes 20-inch black wheels and owners can choose the RST grade that moves on 22-inch pieces. Customers can begin to put in their bid for these special editions starting in October 2019. Chevrolet has announced that both vehicles will have deliveries scheduled to start before the end of 2019. A Closer Look At the Improved 2020 Chevrolet Bolt

2020 Bolt Miami Lakes Automall

The Chevrolet Bolt has been improved for the 2020 model year. One of the best electric vehicles (EV) on the market now has a longer mile range for drivers to enjoy. This new 2020 Chevy product has a class-leading EV range of 259 miles, which is higher than the previous model year. The Chevrolet Bolt EV is purely an electric-vehicle that charges in less than 10 hours at 220-volt outlet charging. Let’s get into the remarkable technology that is leading the way for Chevrolet and Bolt customers alike.

One Hot Ticket Item – Introducing the 2020 Chevy Bolt

The attractive, fuel-saving Bolt EV has a low-price on top of its fantastic features to help make it attractive to customers. Appealing to customers with all it has to offer, Chevrolet is betting on this model year to see a jump in interest for the Bolt. The team responsible for creating the battery used in the Bolt was able to improve the ability to go further without having to increase the size of the battery or change the physical battery pack at all.

“The Bolt EV set the benchmark for long-range, affordable electric vehicles, and we’re excited to raise the bar by offering nearly 10 percent more EPA-estimated range for the 2020 model year. At Chevrolet, we’re constantly listening to customer feedback and we heard the desire for more range. The team worked diligently to find ways to improve battery energy, giving customers the confidence to go more than the extra mile,” said Tim Grewe, director of Global Battery Cell Engineering and Strategy.

Improved Technology and Services For 2020 Bolt

For drivers that are on the road a lot, driving an all-electric car, capable of providing up to 259 miles off a single charge, is a smart choice. The 2020 Bolt adds a surround-view camera, replacing the standard backup camera. A new rear-view camera mirror was added for the Premier trim. Chevy has also added a tire-fill alert system that signals to the driver when a tire is filled with air has reached capacity.

Chevrolet’s Energy Assist feature was a nice addition the previous year and it has returned. This feature allows drivers to locate the nearest places to charge their Bolt all through a smartphone app. Chevrolet partnered with Qmerit in their ambitious quest to add more Bolt owners. Qmerit has helped in creating the Energy Assist app and even will assist Bolt owners by setting up a charging station at an owner’s home. When speaking about the upgrades to the Bolt, Chevrolet and General Motors (GM) are committed to seeing the Bolt become a success.

“The Chevrolet Bolt EV has been changing consumer perceptions of electric vehicles since its launch in 2016. Great range — now even more — is the foundation of the Bolt EV’s success, and when paired with features like one-pedal driving, Regen on Demand and the instant torque of the EV motor, the vehicle delivers an exceptional driving experience. Chevrolet also is helping to encourage EV adoption by providing customers the necessary tools and services to make EV ownership more convenient.” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet Passenger Car and Crossover Marketing.

New Chevrolet Corvette C8 Has Convertible On the Way, Hits New Top Speed

Chevrolet has unleashed its latest Corvette in the summer of 2019. The eighth-generation Corvette, known as the C8, is the first mid-engine Corvette ever made. Soon the first mid-engine Corvette convertible will be available for customers to enjoy. In October, Chevrolet and General Motors have a planned a reveal for the legendary sportscar. The Corvette C8 has recently made headlines with its incredible speeds, hitting a top speed of 194 miles per hour. This speed was captured at a Chevy event that saw the C8 Stringray trim hit the wildly fast speed. The race track was located in Papenburg, Germany where Chevrolet often travels to test their vehicles in various top-speed ways. For this testing, they actually were able to hit the 194-mph mark running on the track in either direction. (Now, that’s wicked speed!)

Slide Into The Convertible Corvette C8

According to Corvette Assembly Plant Manager Kai Spande, the Corvette convertible is set to debut “in the October timeframe”. This wasn’t news that was expected to be let out, but those are the expected plans. Interest will remain quite high in many regards as this is still a relatively brand new vehicle that many dealerships haven’t gotten ahold of just yet. The C8 convertible is still months away with a 2020 debut expected. October will just be the real sneak preview for what the look will be like, inside and out and open-air models show pop up in showrooms around the end of winter. The expectation is that the convertible will have multiple powertrain options including the 490 horsepower 6.2-Liter V8 engine as well as the 495 horsepower with the optional Z51 performance package. Each C8 provides an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic that is standard for every trim. The expected price for the convertible Corvette C8 is to be around $10,000 more than the base trim that is currently priced at $59,995 MSRP (plus destination fee). Curious for more information on the Corvette C8 possible engine selection?

More on the 2020 Corvette C8

As drivers today expect more than ever before out of their vehicles, the Corvette C8 provides a remarkable experience for owners. As the standard equipment boasts a fantastic interior with infotainment features like a 10-speaker Bose sound system, 8-inch infotainment system screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto options. The 12-inch gauge display and LED headlights are a plus, as are the eight-way power seats with dual-zone automatic climate control perks. To get into some of the futuristic features, the trim above the base model Stingray is the 2LT that provides wireless device charging, heated and ventilated seats, blind-spot monitoring with a navigation system that includes satellite radio.

The highest trim is the 3LT that equips better seats for the driver and passenger, a leather-wrapped interior with suede upper trim. Each trim provides the 6.2-Liter V8 engine but the Z51 Performance Package can move the horsepower from the standard 490 horsepower to 495 horsepower. Twelve exterior color choices can be overwhelming for some to pick one, but not only does the C8 have lots of body color choices, but owners can also choose from six interior themes, six-seatbelt color options, and two alternative stitching upgrades to select from. Want some help from the Corvette experts about what to decide on? We can help all at one place.

C8 Miami Lakes Automall

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Officially Debuts

C8 Miami Lakes Automall

In a class by itself, the all-new Chevrolet Corvette C8 will become entirely synonymous with “High-speed adrenaline” for all owners. Do not take this sports car lightly. It’s one of our favorite vehicles to arrive in 2019. The all-new generation Chevrolet Corvette simply looks like a beautiful spaceship that landed on Earth! It’s stunning and we want our readers to consider the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 as the new champion of sports cars on the road today. Other sports cars may wish they could come as close, but they were not made in the same way the Corvette C8 was. Sleek, fast, optimal, and with the first mid-engine Chevrolet has ever added to their Corvette. Let’s explore all the C8 has to offer customers.

Step Into the C8

The all-new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 was built for the modern professional with a fitted connected charging port, an ultra-responsive touchscreen, and more high-tech goodies. Included in the 2LT and 3LT are improved safety features ranging from Side Blind Zone Alert Mirrors, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Upgraded HD Rear Vision Camera, and an Updated Front Curb View Camera as all cameras capture video in HD. Park Assist will display the distance to the object near the Corvette. GM has truly gone all out to reward Corvette owners will top-notch safety and high-tech features.

“This car is very fast and aerodynamics play a big role in keeping this car stable at all speeds. It is easy to see the influence of aircraft design in the body shape. The body ridges help direct the airflow around the body and into the cooling inlets. Cooling and downforce help keep this vehicle stable,” said Kirk Bennion, part of the C8 Design Team

Create the 2020 Corvette C8 From the Ground Up

Perhaps the most customizable Corvette, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 will allow more flexibility than before. Owners will have their pick at nearly anything important. For example, an improvement over previous-generation Corvette models, the C8 Stingray trim affords three seating options instead of two. Custom color options now go up for the tones, materials and seatbelt colors. In total, there are two different tones, three materials and six seatbelt colors the owner can decide over. Want LED lighting? That is an option as well. The former “Automobile of the Year” winner by Automobile Magazine and named to back to back Car and Driver “10Best list” in 2018 and 2019, drivers can expect only the best in top-notch materials from Chevrolet.

Carbon Fiber Anyone?

For those who prefer carbon fiber accessories, they can do that. Just want carbon fiber on the front splitter or roof? Maybe both of those and the side skirts, grille and side mirrors? The entire vehicle allows for the choice to be made by the owner. What does this mean? The chances are higher that each Corvette C8 Stingray will look different than any other.  To keep customers even happier than all these available options is the low entry price to own a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray; the starting price is $60,000 MSRP (plus destination fee). We recommend previous owners of the Corvette to consider trading in and upgrading to the latest Corvette. This kind of speed and horsepower may take getting used to for new owners, but that will be the fun part. Trust us. We can expect the C8 to come to dealerships nationwide by the end of summer 2019.

What To Know About the Mid-Engine 2020 Chevrolet Corvette

2020 C8 Miami Lakes Automall

The summer is starting to cool off, but more heat will be turned up when the all-new new mid-engine Corvette arrives. This Corvette is the first mid-engined supercar Chevy has ever made. While some customers have grown a fondness towards hearing the sound of the engine coming from the hood, Chevrolet had other ideas for their 8th-generation Corvette. Chevrolet knows that some buyers won’t like how they are changing where the engine goes, but there’s no turning back now. Chevrolet has already made up their mind that its evolutionary design will win over new buyers. One fantastic reason why this might be certain? This all-new Corvette will be the fastest one ever made.

Chevrolet Is Winning Over New and Previous Customers Alike

Changes have already been made to direct the upcoming 2020 Chevrolet Corvette away from traditional aspects, and designs like having chrome wheels. Chrome wheels have been a long-running favorite amongst the conventional Corvette fans, but Chevrolet had to revamp their brand. With a new decade approaching and sales that weren’t as glorious as they once were, Chevrolet is making moves. Consider the positives that will come with this bold take on reinventing their prized Corvette sports car. For those Chevy fans that prefer the front-engined Corvette, keep in mind, Chevrolet has lowered the cost of the previous-generation, the C7 Corvette. That might win back some support for those who want to experience the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette. Or perhaps the C8’s 6.2-Liter V8 known as the LT2 is the reason. 495 horsepower with 570 lb-ft of torque is impressive and 40 more horsepower than the previous generation C7 Corvette. However, for those who want the previous-generation Corvette are in luck.

How the Supplier Pricing Discount Works On a C7 Purchase

We’ve learned Chevrolet is extending “Supplier Pricing For Everyone” for the Corvette C7 through September 2nd, 2019. This pricing is reserved for huge discounts on the Corvette in the amount up to $9,404 price cut. There aren’t any hopes to jump through to gain this clearance price. The only way to have more of a savings is by choosing the highest-tier Corvette in the Corvette Z06 that starts at $95,020 MSRP (plus destination fee) and allows for savings of over $9,700. However, customers can expect a fantastic discount on the C7 Corvette, no matter which trim they opt for.

Things To Remember About Discount Deal

Keep in mind, this unique offer is only allowed for customers who are purchasing their C7, not leasing.  The only other requirement to achieve these $9,000+ saving is to have owned any Chevrolet Corvette before. This is considered a loyalty discount meant to keep those with a Corvette, in a more modern Corvette. Without a previous Corvette, this deal loses $3,000 in savings for first-time Corvette owners. However, saving $6,000 or more on any vehicle is always a welcomed deal. For those who want to get the ball rolling on a new Corvette, we know the place to drive them home.

2019 Bolt Miami Lakes Automall

Chevrolet Bolt EUV Is On the Way

2019 Bolt Miami Lakes Automall

General Motors (GM) has shaken up its business with new changes announced to recreate their brand. They announced in November a large restructuring that starts at the top of the automaker and works its way down. They had announced the Chevy Volt will see its run end, but that was only to make way for the new Chevy Bolt EUV. Electric vehicles are known as EV for short, the EUV stands for “electric utility vehicle”. This will be Chevrolet’s next Bolt-based electric car. While we don’t know all the details for what the Chevy product will have underneath the hood, we do have an idea of what it could look like.

More On the Upcoming Chevy Bolt EUV

This new Bolt looks quite different than the current Bolt, but it has some evidence of the Bolt’s design. The new Bolt EUV rendering adopts heavily from the all-new Chevy Blazer with its skinny headlights, full lower front fascia, and sportier overall presentation. Chevrolet has added some bits of the Malibu within the appearance down the side of the vehicle. GM has even filed a trademark for the name and said the vehicle would be manufactured its next all-electric vehicle at its Orion, Michigan factory. Part of General Motor’s plans was to update the very plant where this vehicle is set to be produced.

Setting Up the Chevy Bolt EUV For Success

The Michigan factory is undergoing a $300 million investment overhaul from the automaker. Chevy has said their new EV is set to wear the Chevrolet bow tie while sitting on an enhanced version of the platform found under the current Chevy Bolt. The Bolt EUV is going to be more prominent as far as most crossovers are made, but should be a hit for its size and incredible gas mileage. The current Bolt EV is a purely electronic vehicle that can achieve a full charge with a 220-volt outlet charge in 9.3 hours and provide drivers with 238 miles of driving off that lone charge. That’s better than good, that’s fantastic for owners to enjoy.

GM’s Electric Vehicle Future

General Motors is going to make big waves in the upcoming new decade, including an aggressive electric vehicle goal of adding as many 20 new EVs by 2023. The Bolt EUV trademark silenced rumors that Chevy might create a family of Bolt-branded electric vehicles. Currently, GM is viewing their EV future in the U.S. as a wise-move with the ever-growing fuel-conscious buyers. A charming Bolt EUV could convert some customers to create their mission to add more EV owners on the road. We’re excited for that and can’t wait to see the future Bolt EUV at Miami Lakes Automall. For now, we have plenty of new Chevrolet vehicles ready for a test-drive.
