Chevrolet Debuts its 650-Horsepower Beast

Friday, November 12th, 2021

Chevrolet showcased one of its off-road concepts at the 2021 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Named the Beast, this four-door pickup looked mighty and rugged. It’s based on the Chevy Silverado but it comes in much more powerful and capable than the average pickup. Equipped with a V8 engine that’s capable of 650 horsepower, Chevy’s new Beast is sure to pose a threat to the competition. This concept pickup utilizes the same engine as the Corvette so you know it’s got some great specs. We’ll dive deeper into the concept vehicle and see what Chevy’s got in store for those looking for one beast of a pickup.

Chevy Debuts Beast Off-Road Concept

Chevrolet recently debuted its Beast off-road concept pickup at the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The domineering pickup looked quite impressive with its 37-inch mud-terrain tires. Mounted inside of these huge tires were 20-inch beadlock wheels. As for the engine, the Beast pickup utilizes a supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 engine that’s capable of 650 horsepower. The engine comes paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case. This concept pickup also comes equipped with Brembo brakes.

The Beast pickup is based on the Chevy Silverado. It is a four-door truck with two spare tires in the bed. The concept pickup stands tall and empowered with its 126.9-inch wheelbase and 13.5 inches of ground clearance. The pickup is almost an oversized version of the Silverado as it comes in almost 10 inches wider than the standard Silverado. For this feat, the name Beast is quite appropriate. In addition to its large stature, the concept pickup comes equipped with LED lights, skid plates, and an off-road suspension setup. Control arms come installed in the front along with adjustable dampers with external reservoirs. At the back of the vehicle is a live axle.

Riding inside this beast of a pickup, drivers will note two 7-inch LCD screen monitors. These provide real-time performance data about the pickup like pitch and roll. For safety, drivers can buckle themselves in with a four-point harness while sitting in the Recaro performance seats. Chevy really went all out with this concept pickup. Its large exterior makes it reminiscent of a video game and perhaps that’s where the inspiration came from. Drivers will certainly feel like the main character as they traverse the toughest of terrains. We’ll have to wait for more information but for the ultimate off-road enthusiast, the Chevy Beast looks unchallenged.

Chevrolet Performance to Introduce its Biggest Crate Engine Ever

Friday, October 29th, 2021

Chevrolet is hoping to make huge strides with its latest announcement. The automaker recently announced the release of one of its largest crate engines yet. This new 632-cubic-inch monster engine is capable of 1,000 horsepower and 876lb-ft of torque. The ZZ632 engine is the biggest and most powerful engine to be released from Chevrolet Performance yet. It will debut at the 2021 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. Chevrolet Performance is a subsidiary that sells brand parts. The group has been in production since 1967 and it has handled all high-performance crate engines since. Now the group has released one of its most powerful crate engines. The ZZ632 is a street engine that pumps on gas and delivers power without power adders. Chevy will be sure to upgrade their line with this bad boy. We may see it used in a Camaro or maybe even a Silverado. We’ll dive into more detail about the new engine and check out what it’s capable of.

Chevy’s New ZZ632 Crate Engine

Chevrolet’s subsidiary Chevrolet Performance recently announced their largest crate engine yet. The ZZ632 is a powerful beast of an engine that is capable of producing 1,004 horsepower and 876 lb-ft of torque. This new crate engine sees its peak power at 6,600 rpm but it easily maxes out at 7,000 rpm. Fuel is delivered by eight-port injectors with the big-block breathing through high-flow CNC-machined aluminum cylinder heads. Typically big blocks are designed with variations in port shape according to each individual cylinder. With the ZZ632, all eight of the intake ports have the same length, volume, and layout. The exhaust ports are also identical which ensures that each cylinder produces the same amount of power. About their new crate engine, the Director of the Performance and Racing Propulsion Team Russ O’Blenes said,

“This is the biggest, baddest crate engine we’ve ever built,” said Russ O’Blenes, director of the Performance and Racing Propulsion Team. “The ZZ632 sits at the top of our unparalleled crate engine lineup as the king of performance. It delivers incredible power, and it does it on pump gas.”

For the ZZ632’s iron block, Chevrolet Performance utilized the same mold as was used with ZZ572 crate engines. The difference was that the castings were machined to accommodate the large 632 cubic-inch displacement. The bores grew by 0.04 inches compared to the 572 V8s and most of the displacement gain came from a stroke that’s 0.375 inches longer. Chevrolet engineers were able to modify the block and the connecting rods to provide more clearance for this longer stroke. They utilized a forged rotating assembly and four-bolt main caps to ensure strength and durability. With their careful adjustments, they were able to take a single ZZ632 engine through 200 simulated dragstrip passes on a dyno.

The new ZZ632 crate engine is Chevrolet’s next advancement for their high-performance vehicles. The crate engine will officially debut at the 2021 SEMA show in Las Vegas. There, consumers will be able to get a closer look at this bad boy. From what we’ve learned so far, Chevy will have a very exciting engine for future use. We can’t wait to see what they do with it.

Electric Chevy Silverado to Feature Huge Infotainment Screen

Friday, October 22nd, 2021

The all-new all-electric Chevy Silverado has been receiving a lot of attention lately. The fully electric pickup truck has been getting teased more and more as it nears its full debut. General Motors will unveil the full-sized electric pickup at the Consumer Electronics Show on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022. Many automakers have been focusing on producing electric vehicles as the global climate crisis persists. General Motors is no stranger as its electric Silverado has caused many to increase their faith in the potential of electric vehicles. Automakers like Ford have been cautious in releasing electric vehicles that appear normal and conventional, something they have found much success in doing. GM has followed this pattern. The Chevy Silverado is a powerful, durable, and capable pickup truck. By turning it electric, GM continues to appeal to pickup fans. It also helps appeal to a greater number of consumers. Now with the new Silverado’s debut nearing, GM has released several teaser images that show some features of the full-sized electric pickup. One of these features is a fixed-glass roof which appears to offer more visibility. Another feature seen is a rather large infotainment screen. We’ll need to wait for more information, but we’ll dive into these new features.

Teaser Images Show Electric Silverado Infotainment Screen

The all-electric Chevy Silverado has been shown to feature a fixed-glass roof as well as a larger infotainment screen. The full-sized pickup will benefit from the increased visibility, headroom, and overall sense of space from the roof. These details come from a teaser image that was released alongside information about the CES show in 2022. The slow drip of details certainly helps build excitement and hype. Another feature seen in the electric Chevy Silverado is the addition of a new infotainment screen.

From the teaser image, the all-new electric Chevy Silverado’s infotainment screen looks to extend towards the driver. The screen appears to be horizontally oriented with a wide curved surface. Since it’s so wide, this infotainment screen could potentially contain both the system display as well as the driver instrument panel. This would be a similar layout used in the fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade.

In addition to the screen and roof, another feature expected to accompany the electric Silverado is a four-wheel steering system. This would enable the pickup to turn all four wheels at the same time, thus improving agility. It would also tighten the turning radius at lower speeds. Meanwhile, at higher speeds, this would greatly improve handling and stability. The four-wheel system would also improve the pickup’s trailering dynamics. From what’s been seen so far, the electric Chevy Silverado looks to be very promising as an electric pickup. New features and capabilities look to accompany the truck which will better enhance the driving experience. We’ll be waiting expectantly for GM and the debut of the electric Silverado at the CES show at the beginning of 2022.

Chevy Corvette Sees Impressive Q3 Sales, Ranks First Among Premium Sports Cars

Thursday, October 14th, 2021

The Chevy Corvette recently enjoyed impressive third quarter (Q3) sales in the United States. The luxury sports car managed to surpass its previous Q3 sales by about 60 percent. Chevrolet is certainly enjoying the increased popularity as its Corvette model ranked higher than competitors by huge margins. The automaker has been turning its focus on electric vehicles lately, a move many other automakers have seemed to attempt. Chevrolet has teased its all-new all-electric Chevy Silverado and they have also hinted at a potential new electric sedan that may or may not replace the Camaro. It’s always a positive when an automaker can capitalize on its current lineup while continuing to meet consumers’ demands and interests. Electric vehicles have become a hot topic as of late given the climate crisis, but as seen with the Corvette’s sales numbers, it seems some folks are still looking to drive high-performance sports cars.

Chevy Corvette Sees Increased Sales Overall

The Chevy Corvette saw delivery numbers totaling 10,166 units in Q3 of 2021. This was an increase of 59.97 percent compared to the 6,355 units sold in Q3 of 2020. As for the entire year, the premium sports car saw sales increase about 96 percent to 24,748, compared to 12,634 the previous year. This increase was seen mainly in the first nine months of the year. These numbers allowed the Corvette to become the best-selling model in its class. Following the Corvette was the Porsche 911, then the Porsche 718, and after that came the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT in fourth. Overall, the Corvette managed to outsell all its rivals.

Corvette sales for the year included all Corvette body styles, variants, trim levels, and packages. In each quarter of 2021, the Corvette managed to post strong numbers. During each of its quarters, the Corvette accounted for at least 51 percent of the segment share. It should be noted that many competitors in the segment cost significantly more than the Corvette (the C8 starts at a base price of $58,900 [plus destination fee]). This may explain why rival sales numbers were as low as they were. Still, the Corvette managed to solidify its status as a desirable sports car.

Given the strong sales numbers, it’s clear the Corvette C8 line has more room for growth. Higher-performance variants are still on the way. Some of these include the C8 ZO6, C8 E-Ray, C8 ZR1, and the C9 Zora. The C8 Z06 will be the first variant to launch for the 2023 Corvette model year. As these variants continue to release, it’s expected that Chevy will see even greater sales numbers for its sports car. As long as production at the GM Bowling Green plant and the GM Tonawanda Engine plant continues without pause, Chevy should continue to see its Corvette reign at the top of the sports cars sales list.

General Motors and AT&T To Team Up For 5G

Thursday, September 9th, 2021

General Motors is setting its sights on the future with its latest announcement. The automotive company will be teaming up with AT&T to provide 5G connectivity to its lineup of vehicles over the next decade. 5G is the fifth generation of cellular technology. It has the potential to be 100 times faster than 4G. This partnership between GM and AT&T will mean that GM’s lineup will receive better software performance, enhanced navigation, and faster streaming capabilities.

General Motors Aims for 5G

5G is the next level for cellular technology. Many companies have been touting 5G as a revolutionary technology that will significantly improve data usage and connectivity. GM recognizes the capabilities of 5G, so it makes sense that they’re looking to incorporate it into their own vehicles. The only problem is that the infrastructure to house the 5G technology is not where it needs to be. This along with connectivity issues has caused some hesitation. For GM, they are looking toward the year 2024 to fully incorporate 5G technology. About this issue, the executive director of 5G connectivity at GM Thomas DeMaria said,

“It’s really not a function of what’s missing in the vehicles,” said Thomas DeMaria. “It’s more around the maturity of the 5G technology, and also the readiness of 5G.”

Thomas DeMaria, Executive Director of 5G Connectivity at GM

General Motors recognizes that 5G technology plays an important role in providing consumers software updates and that it can drastically enhance their experience. Since it is so important, GM plans to wait until 2024 so that any issues will be resolved and connectivity will work as intended. The automaker will start the introduction to its lineup in the same year, 2024. Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC vehicles will all come equipped with 5G technology. In addition, GM will update all of its model year 2019 and newer vehicles with the 5G technology. This will improve connectivity speeds and enhance vehicle software performance. DeMaria speaks more on the potential of 5G.

“The network in the vehicle systems are increasingly relying on what I would call data augmentation,” DeMaria said. “So autonomous functions, ADAS [advanced driver assist systems] functions, and other connected services, including navigation systems, increasingly are relying on supplemental data coming in from the network. So we’re going to continue to see that trend.”

Thomas DeMaria

The smart technology that operates within vehicles will become more advanced as time goes on. Self-driving cars are a hot topic that seems to move closer to reality as time goes on. They are a great example of the potential of 5G technology as their safety information relies on a fast connection. The AI used in vehicles will require the strength provided by 5G, but as of yet, the global networks in the US are not ready. GM is getting consumers ready for the next generation of technology. Their partnership with AT&T will provide their vehicles with the latest in technology and software so that consumers get the best for their buck.

GM Files New Trademark Application for Grand Blazer

Thursday, September 2nd, 2021

General Motors has been stirring up excitement lately with a new trademark application filed in Argentina. It has many speculating as to whether GM will undergo a larger Chevy Grand Blazer or whether it will make an exclusive vehicle for the Southern American country. Chevrolet has been making headlines with its new all-electric 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 which it hopes will compete with Ford’s F-150 Lightning. A Chevy Grand Blazer could compete with Ford’s Bronco as well, so this may be a good opportunity for the automaker. Recently, Chevy has been updating its vehicles like the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and 2022 Chevy Suburban with new off-road packages and safety features as seen with the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. Chevrolet has a chance to create more enthusiasm with this new trademark, but we’ll have to wait for more information to determine the route GM will take.

Is There a New Chevy Blazer in the Works?

General Motors recently filed a new trademark application in Argentina for the name “Grand Blazer.” This has raised interest as some have speculated that a Chevy Blazer that returns to its rugged roots could be in the works. The current crossover Chevy Blazer provides good performance and handling, but it isn’t a true off-road vehicle like the original. If Chevrolet has plans for a more rugged Chevy Blazer, it could do well in the off-road sphere against vehicles like the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler.

Chevrolet submitted their new trademark application with the Argentina National Institute of Industrial Property. There weren’t too many details included in the application aside from the “Grand Blazer” title. This doesn’t leave much to go off of, but typically “Grand” implies a larger or more luxurious vehicle. The flip side is that GM isn’t doing much with the new trademark, which would be a little disappointingly but somewhat understandable. The Chevrolet Grand Blazer title has been used in Southern American markets as a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Tahoe up until about 2019 so a Chevrolet Grand Blazer could be made exclusively for this Southern market. Countries like Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela have enjoyed these vehicles before so they may be getting a new one. This is plausible as GM did file the application in Argentina, but we’ll have to see.

One more theory about the new trademark application is a new three-row version of the Chevy Blazer. This three-row version is currently sold exclusively in China. The US has a Chevy Blazer with only two rows of seats so the Grand title could add additional room. Whichever direction GM takes, it will have an impact on competitors and potentially entice new consumers.

Chevrolet is bringing a new performance package to the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and 2022 Chevy Suburban. This will consist of an off-road performance package that will upgrade the family-sized SUV’s durability as well as give them a bit of kick. The two full-sized SUVs recently received new designs and features in 2021 to their cabin and exterior, so this latest package will add more overall capability. It will feature upgrades to the engine and improve handling and control. Chevrolet is offering something for all consumers with this latest package. Families looking for something sturdy but still safe and reliable are sure to love this new package deal.

2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban Off-Road Package

The 2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are getting improvements to their engines and to their suspension and control. These will be included in an off-road performance package for the Z71 trims. The performance packages will come available as optional equipment. They will feature a new 6.2L V8 engine and dual twin polished stainless-steel exhaust tips. Currently, the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban feature a 5.3L V8 gasoline engine capable of 355 horsepower and 383lb-ft of torque. The new 6.2L V8 will bring the horsepower and torque to 420 and 460 respectively. Alongside the new 6.2L V8 engine is a 3.0L turbo-diesel Duramax engine. This will produce 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It will provide consumers with a more fuel-efficient and torque-rich engine. All three engines will be paired with General Motors’ hydra-matic 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the off-road performance package, consumers will need to select the off-road capability package. This extra package will improve suspension and control for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban. It includes magnetic ride control, air ride adaptive suspension, and an electronic limited-slip differential. All of this will improve stability and enhance control so drivers can feel safe and secure. Chevrolet will begin production on the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and 2022 Chevy Suburban on October 4th, 2021. The Chevy Tahoe Z71 trim will be available for $61,900 (plus destination fee) and the Chevy Suburban Z71 trim will be available for $59,200 MSRP (plus destination fee). Both family-sized SUVs provide consumers with the best in function and with their latest improvements, the best in cabin space and cargo storage. 5 Things We Like about the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban

Friday, July 30th, 2021

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is one of the larger SUVs available. With its recent makeover, the family-sized SUV has become a more accommodating vehicle that gives its competition a run for their money. With additional cargo space and passenger room, the 2021 Chevy Suburban is set to rise even higher among the ranks of family-sized SUVs. Along with more space, improvements to the overall driving experience have provided the large SUV with a more dominant position. The combination of better handling and passenger-oriented improvements has led to this laundry list of highlights. So, here are five things that make the 2021 Chevy Suburban an optimal choice.

More Passenger Space and Cargo Room

First of all, compliments to GM for recognizing that a family-sized SUV has to not only fit an entire family but also comfortably fit an entire family. The recent improvements to the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban have added more passenger space for the second and third rows. They have also added additional cargo space. Now, the second row inside the 2021 Chevy Suburban has an extra 2.3 inches of legroom. The third row has 2 inches of additional legroom. Both rows also have been raised to a higher position so that passengers can feel a bit more comfortable. These improvements make it so that even taller adults can sit comfortably in either row.

Regarding cargo space, the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban has made improvements that provide more room for bulkier items. The cargo floor has been lowered by more than 5 inches which makes loading large items much easier. In total, the Chevy Suburban has about 144.7 cubic feet of cargo space when the second and third-row seats are folded down. With a deeper cargo floor, Suburban owners can rest easy knowing they can comfortably load and haul just about anything.

Smoother Ride and Handling

Moving to the second highlight, modifications to the Suburban have made rides exceptionally smooth. Optional features like the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and Magnetic Ride Control give the 2021 Chevy Suburban better handling and control. This makes the interior cabin quieter and reduces shakiness. Now road trips can be enjoyed without fear of cargo rattling around or breaking.

Optional Diesel Engine

The third highlight of the Suburban is the optional diesel engine. With 277 horsepower and 460lb-ft of torque, this new engine offers the same torque as the higher-rated 6.2L V-8 engine. This addition adds a much better fuel economy for those longer trips.

Smooth Transmission

For the fourth highlight, the Suburban’s transmission gets a point. A 10-speed automatic transmission provides quick reactions for the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban. It also operates seamlessly with either the 5.3L or 6.2L V-8 engines. Offering smooth performance, the newer transmission bumps the large SUV up a few points on the leaderboard.

Additional Safety

The final point revolves around safety, perhaps one of the most important aspects of any vehicle. Despite the monstrous size of the Chevy Suburban, options like the Enhanced Display and Alert Package provide drivers with smart technology. This makes maneuvering even the smallest of parking lots a breeze. Included in the Alert package are a 360-degree camera system, a rearview camera mirror, pedestrian detection, and a large heads-up display. All this provides drivers with the peace of mind that they and their passengers are safe and secure.

2022 Chevy Trailblazer Gains New Active Safety Package

Friday, July 23rd, 2021

GM has recently announced a new active safety package for the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. With this new addition, GM is reminding its consumers that safety will always be a top priority. Currently, specific details about the new safety package are unknown but, based on previous packages, it’s safe to say that GM will be placing additional emphasis on driver and passenger safety.

Features of the Current Active Safety Package

From recent reports and leaked details, it seems that GM will not be including lane change alerts or side blind zone alerts in its new active safety package. This may seem counterproductive, but these features are readily available in current safety packages for the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer. Packages like the Driver Confidence and Cruise Package and the Driver Confidence package include these safety features as well as additional ones. One of two, the Driver Confidence and Cruise package comes equipped in the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer base and LT trims. It includes cruise control, lane change and side blind zone alerts, rear cross-traffic alerts, and rear park assist. The second available safety package is the Driver Confidence Package. It is available for the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer LT, Activ, and RS trims. It is similar to the Driver Confidence and Cruise Package however it does not include cruise control.

Given both package deals, the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer is likely to come equipped with lane change and side blind zone alerts if the vehicle is ordered with either package.

The all-new 2022 Chevy Trailblazer is slated to come equipped with Chevy Safety Assist. This safety package consists of six advanced safety and driver assistance features. Some of these include forward collision alerts, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicators, and Intellibeam high beam assist. Different trims have upgrades available. These consist of an HD rear vision camera, lane change and side blind zone alerts, rear cross-traffic alerts, rear park assist, adaptive cruise control, and OnStar safety and security coverage.

Features of the New Active Safety Package

A new active safety package for the all-new 2022 Chevy Trailblazer will most likely focus on better driver safety features and improved vehicle function. Using the latest technology, GM could incorporate a driver sensor inside the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer that would monitor the driver’s health condition. Should the driver become incapacitated, the driver sensor would be able to gain control of the vehicle to avoid further injury.

One additional feature likely to be included in the new safety package is an over-the-air update system. This would provide drivers with direct information and diagnostics about their vehicle. A heads-up display could also be implemented to provide drivers with information within their field of vision.

The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer will go into production later in the year. The base LT trim will be priced at $22,795 MSRP (plus destination fee). Additional trims like the Activ and RS will be a bit pricier but will come with premium features.

2022 Chevy Tahoe Receives a Production Date

Friday, July 16th, 2021

A revamped 2021 Chevy Tahoe was introduced recently, bringing the iconic SUV to its fifth generation. Now, GM is preparing to work on a 2022 Chevy Tahoe that will hopefully surpass its predecessor. Starting October 4th, 2021, GM will begin production on the next iteration of the large SUV. The only question is, how will GM improve upon its acclaimed 2021 Chevy Tahoe? According to the Chevrolet site, “you make it the most versatile and advanced Tahoe ever– with a bigger, more spacious cabin, better ride and handling, and a commanding presence that’s impossible to ignore.”

The 2021 Chevy Tahoe recently underwent a makeover that added more passenger and cargo room. Alongside this, the full-size SUV got a cabin and interior redesign along with an improved infotainment system. Capable of fitting 8 people, the revamped 2021 Chevy Tahoe offers a lot for those who enjoy a powerful but comfortable SUV.

Since the 2021 Chevy Tahoe received major changes and improvements recently, new additions to the 2022 model are likely to be minor. Either new colors or additions to the instrument cluster and infotainment system can be expected.

Speculation About the 2022 Chevy Tahoe

Speculation around the 2022 Chevy Tahoe has given way to several theories: 1) GM makes a 2022 Chevy Tahoe that has true all-terrain capabilities, 2) GM makes a 2022 Chevy Tahoe that is off-road oriented, 3) GM makes a 2022 Chevy Tahoe that is performance-tuned. Whichever direction GM decides to take, Chevy Tahoe fans will not be disappointed.

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe will likely use the new T1 platform that was introduced in 2019. Used for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the T1 platform was a newly engineered platform intended for full-size body-on-frame models. If the 2022 Chevy Tahoe makes use of this platform,  it will enjoy better handling and stability.

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe will likely feature a similar engine to the 2021 Tahoe. A 5.4L V9 L84 gasoline engine comes standard from the EcoTec3 family. It comes with a rating of 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Chevy Tahoe trims like the High Country level will most likely feature a 6.2L V8 L87 exclusive engine. It will come with 420 horsepower and 460lb-ft of torque. The rest of the trims except for the Z71 will offer a 3.0L I6 LM2 turbo-diesel Duramax which will offer 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. All three engines will come with GM’s Hydra-Matic 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive will be standard on most trims except for the Z71. There may also be an option for four-wheel drive on certain trims.

2022 Chevy Tahoe Trims

Those interested in the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe will be happy to know that several distinct trims will be available. For those seeking an off-roader style SUV, the Z71 trim will be ideal. Starting at $60,495 MSRP (plus destination fee), the Z71 will come with four-wheel drive and off-road-ready features like a heavy-duty air filter, recovery hooks, a transfer case, and 20-inch all-terrain tires.

The High Country trim will be good for those seeking a more performance-oriented SUV. Starting at $69,700 MSRP (plus destination fee), the High Country trim will feature a more powerful 6.2L V8 engine. It will also come with 22-inch wheels, a 15-inch head-up display, rear pedestrian alerts, and an HD surround vision camera.

The Premier trim is for those looking for a higher standard of comfort and luxury. Starting at $63,895 MSRP (plus destination fee), the Premier trim comes with features like magnetic ride control and power tilt steering. It will feature an 8-inch driver information display and some advanced safety features like lane-keep assist and lane-change alerts.

As indicated by Q1 2021 sale numbers, the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe has quickly become a fan favorite in the full-size SUV sector. With over 23,000 units sold, the Chevy Tahoe managed to secure a place at the top. Now with the announcement of a new 2022 Chevy Tahoe in the works, GM is hoping to further its lead in the SUV market.
