The 2023 Chevy Bolt Takes The Cake As The Most Affordable EV

The Affordable Chevy Bolt

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt will soon serve as the most inexpensive electric vehicle that can be bought in North America.

Recently, the parent company, General Motors (GM) released pricing for the upcoming 2023 model. The entry-level 1LT and better-supplied 2LT models are going for $26,595* and $29,795* respectively, which the company says is a price reduction of $5,900 per model as opposed to last year.

The larger Bolt EUV will get an even bigger cut, (nominally speaking), with $6,300.

The price for the regular Bolt EV model signifies a considerable price cut of 18.5% from a year ago, during a time when everything from components to labor costs are seeing a considerable rise in the country.

GM is even saying that with this large price cut, no features have been taken out or cut out compared to the 2021 model.

“Nothing has been removed,” GM product specialist Shad Balch told the Detroit Free Press. “This reflects our ongoing desire to make sure Bolt EV/EUV is competitive in the marketplace. As we’ve said, affordability has always been a priority for these vehicles.”

Pricing

While pricing for 2023 has not been announced yet, the upcoming Nissan Leaf, which was the most affordable EV offered in the States, has a starting price of $27,400, (plus destination fee). If you’re not including the federal tax credit of $7,500 that Nissan still accounts for, but GM doesn’t, the 2023 Bolt EV is the more affordable car in the States.

Technically speaking, the Bolt EV is the cheapest electric model in America when it goes on sale next year, not considering the federal tax credit (bringing the Nissan Leaf down to a considerable $19,900). The troubling news for Nissan is that its cumulative total U.S. sales for the Lead model are close to 175,000 units, and when it reaches 200,000, the threshold for the federal tax credit will be cut in half.

Another disadvantage for the Nissan Leaf is that it only has 149 miles of range (according to the EPA), whilst the cheapest Bolt EV has a brand-estimated 259 miles. Buyers would need to upgrade to the Nissan Leaf S Plus in order to even reach 226 miles of EPA-rated range, but that model has a starting price of $32,400, (plus destination fee).

The main idea here is that the company is making many moves to bring an affordable, mass-market EV option with a suitable electric range to the average consumer who wants to transition to an electric model. This is part of the market with a slew of options, with the Nissan Leaf S Plus acting as its only competitor. Alternatively, Fisker (FSR) may seem promising for its electric Ocean EV, which will start below $40,000, (plus destination fee) when it makes its way sometime in 2023.

If the White House ends up hitting its goal for the U.S. to achieve its sales of fully electric cars by 2030, North American buyers will need several more affordable electrified options.

2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban Set To Receive GM’s Super Cruise…Sort Of

Thursday, May 26th, 2022

The 2023 Chevrolet and Suburban have become the latest vehicles of General Motors to offer the brand’s Super Cruise hands-free driver-assist technology. However, this is more of an intention rather than a definite reality…

“Due to current supply-chain shortages, certain features—including Super Cruise—have limited and late availability,” a spokesperson wrote in an email to Car and Driver. When asked by car review site, Car and Driver if Chevrolet may eventually need to push the debut of the Super Cruise technology in the Tahoe and Suburban to the 2024 model year, the same spokesperson replied that Chevy is “continuing to monitor chip availability and will make this determination when our business deems appropriate in the model year cycle.”

It seems clear to use that Chevrolet is remaining quite optimistic about its ability to get the necessary amount of semiconductor chips to get the Super Cruise system to the full-sized Tahoe and full-size Suburban SUVs for their 2023 model year. If not, it’s likely that we would have heard an announcement from the company pushing back this information until they got a better grasp on handling this pickle with the semiconductor chips.

On the other hand, some are speculating that there is the possibility that Chevrolet has released this information under the pretense of hoping for the best-case scenario while preparing for the worst. If the worst does indeed happen, and the company is forced to pull Super Cruise from the options sheet of the two big SUVs, then buyers of the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban will have a new car but with very minute changes for that model year. This includes three new exterior hues added to the two vehicle’s color options (Silver Sage Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat), and a new accessor grill that does away with the classic bowtie badge, which will be available on LS, LT, RST, and Premier trims.

Having said that, if Chevrolet is successful, in fact, successful at implementing the Super Cruise on the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban, then buyers of these SUVs should expect to spend a pretty penny…but money well spent, on the Level 2 driver-assist system, especially since it’s only meant for the high-ranking Premier and High Country trims.

In the meantime, here are some other features to expect. The 2023 Tahoe can be expected to be filled with comfort features and conveniences such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, onboard Wi-Fi, voice commands, and an incredible amount of 8 USB ports.

The 2023 Suburban can be expected to have just as many on-board features, along with a longer wheelbase, extra cargo room, and additional space for long-legged occupants to stretch while sitting in second or third-row seats.

The Chevy Trax Is Coming Back For More In 2023

Monday, April 18th, 2022

Attention all SUV and compact lovers! A new generation of the Chevrolet Trax crossover is coming our way! Its more luxurious counterpart, the Buick Encore, shares the same platform and has similar mechanisms, but unfortunately, it’s getting the boot. Despite this, the Trax model is here to stay.

A spokesperson of the automaker told Roadshow that it “will reveal an all-new Trax later this year.” Meanwhile, the current Trax will end production late this year. The assembly of the next generation of this model will initiate in the first half of 2023.

Last year, the car company moved 42,590 examples of the Trax. This is a decrease of 59.9 percent from the Trax’s 106,299 deliveries in 2020. During the initial quarter of 2022, the subcompact’s volume was 5,801 units, which was a drop of 65.8 from the 16,955 vehicles in Q1 2021.

A report in March claimed that the Buick Encore was set to discontinue after its 2022 model year, and this claim turned out to be true.

As of yet, the Buick has sold much worse than the Trax, as the manufacturer delivered 20,072 Encores in 2021, which is a 51.9 percent drop from 2020. Then for the first quarter of 2022, Buick moved 2,620 Encores, amounting to a 57.9 percent drop from the same period in the previous year.

Chevrolet then updated the Trax SUV for its 2021 model year by bringing in a more advanced 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, with an output of 153 horsepower (114 kilowatts) and 177 lb-ft (240 Newton-meters) of torque. The preceding 1.4-L had an output of 138 hp (103 kW) and 148 lb-ft (201 Nm). The changes encompassed the implementation of direct fuel injection, as opposed to port injections.

The Chevrolet Trax and Buick Encore were closely matched to the European Opel Mokka crossover. Seeing how the Opel is now a part of the Stellantis bundle of brands, the latest Mokka vehicle has no relation to the previous version.

Furthermore, this European competitor is also available as an electric vehicle. The Mokka has a powertrain that amounts to 136 hp (100 kW) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque. A 50-kilowatt-hour battery provides 200 miles (322 kilometers) of range, with the top speed coming at 93 miles per hour (150 kilometers per hour).

GM Attempts To Regroup With Its New Bolt EV and EUV Ad Campaign

Monday, April 11th, 2022

Bolt EV and Bolt EUV

The parent company of Chevrolet, General Motors (GM), launched its new ad campaign, Friday (April, 8), with the hopes of rebuilding trust in its customers. This process of gaining back trust is necessary when regarding the Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV, as numerous production halts and pricey battery recalls pestered the company for more than a year.

Last year, multiple reports of battery fires forced the multinational automaker to issue a hefty recall for all Bolt EVs that were made at the start of production in 2017. It was an estimated $2 billion in the cost of swapping out batteries created by its partner LG Energy Solution.

Twenty-four incidents were made aware to federal regulators, while GM said that they were aware of 19 related car problems.

Last week marked the start of a new rollout of ads via a national television campaign…that doesn’t mention the recall.

According to Newsweek, Shad Balch, director of Chevrolet communications, said that the campaign is intended to show the ease and convenience of having an electric vehicle.

One spot conveys the Bolt’s range to the viewers’ by showing a driver listening to his mother’s chatter-box during a long drive. Meanwhile, another ad titled “Life Changes,” shows a mom-to-be learning about the charging process.

In regards to what potential buyers should consider when thinking about purchasing Bolt despite its previous battery issues, Balch said that the EV represents a focus on gaining consumer trust and a positive entry point for drivers considering swapping their gasoline-powered cars for fully-electric ones.

“We have kept our customers first in every step of this process and will continue to reaffirm that commitment,” he said. “For consumers we will focus on the attributes that make Bolt EV/EUV the perfect choice to switch from gas to electric: long-range EV loaded with technology at an affordable price.”

He also said that the company is certain that it will set a sales record for the Bolt and transcend that projected record in 2023.

Last year, the company sold 24,828 Bolt EVs and EUVs.

It was in November 2020 when the first recall notice went out, with GM saying that 50,932 vehicles that were produced from 2017 to 2019 had a fire risk, warning its customers not to charge their cars with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries to full capacity.

It was after a series of reported fires that involved the battery, the company lengthened its recall in August 2021 to involve every Bolt made since 2017.

Although customers waited for the defective batteries to be replaced, the company instructed drivers to lessen their battery capacity to 90 percent, keeping the battery charged to 70 miles or range, at the minimum, along with parking their vehicles outside and not charging them overnight.

In December, the American car manufacturer released a software update that automatically sets the Bolt’s top charge limit to 80 percent, enabling drivers to leave the car charging overnight and to park indoors.

Throughout this process, production was also halted due to supply chain issues intruding with the manufacturing of replacement batteries. This caused GM to issue production halts for the Bolt line, which was extended until production restarted this month, in April.

The Chevy Trax And Buick Are Saying Good-Bye In 2022

Thursday, March 24th, 2022

Chevy Trax And Buick Are Being Discontinued

Those who closely follow General Motors (GM), shouldn’t be too shocked that its subsidiaries, Chevrolet and Buick are getting rid of their Trax and Encore SUVs. These crossover models are set to discontinue by the end of the current 2022 model year, as stated in a report from GM Authority. Taking their place will be the Chevy Trailblazer and Buick Encore GX, which are already on sale.

The Trax and Encore SUVs became accessible in 2015 and 2013 to go on sale for those particular model years, successively. Since then, GM has provided minute changes to keep them looking fresh and interesting. About a couple of years ago, there was already talk that these models would get the boot from their respective lineups when the Chevy Trailblazer and Buick Encore GX came onto the scene, but GM decided against it, the reason being that sales were still going strong.

For all that, the Chevy Trailblazer and Buick Encore GX are more upmarket by far, which means that they could soon become more pricey as soon as optional packages come into play. Despite this, sales have experienced a steep decline since these successors arrived. Simply put, there is no reason to keep the Trax and Encore anymore. The compacts are manufactured in South Korea and production will officially retire in August.

While GM always had the intention to discontinue these models, they had to be strategic with the actual timing. This signal came when the sales of the Trailblazer and Encore GX become stronger than they’ve ever been. In 2021, sales for the Trax went down by 60 percent while Encore deliveries experienced a dip by 52 percent. A few years back, GM had to choose between heavily updating the crossovers or getting rid of them entirely.

There are some that agree that the latter decision made the most sense, particularly because the Trailblazer and Encore GX both possess longer wheelbases, allowing for greater rear-seat space and cargo capacity overall. This is also despite only being a few inches longer. Their cabins also have a more deluxe ambiance owing to their improved styling and higher quality for their build materials.

Funny enough, a spokesperson for GM hasn’t even officially confirmed the discontinuation of the models just yet. However, the car blog, Car Buzz has reached out to the two subsidiaries and is currently waiting on a response. What we know to be certain is that Chevrolet will proceed with selling five crossovers, while Buick will have four.

Standard safety features of the 2022 Trailblazer includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, distance indicator, forward-collision alert, and automatic high beams. It also comes with a 7-inch screen with a backup camera, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM satellite radio.

The 2023 Chevy Blazer Gets An Upgrade With Its Powertrain and Performance

Monday, March 14th, 2022

2023 Chevy Blazer

Towards the beginning of this year, Chevrolet revealed that they would release their mid-size Blazer in 2023, in an electrified form. However, before this SUV dumps the gasoline pump, the automaker is still giving its standard Blazer a revamp for next year, involving the enhancement of its styling on the outer body and augmenting the interior with a larger touchscreen.

While the visual details for the upcoming Blazer are nearly inconspicuous, the interior shakes things up with its high-mounted LED running lights, which are sleeker and bleed into a new grille design. This grille design is now mated to the central headlight unit through a C-formed trim piece.

Going to the back, you’ll see that the taillights receive new LED light signatures. There are also new available wheel designs: 18-, 20-, and 21-inch. Along with these new kicks are a slew of paint colors, which encompass Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.

Inhouse, all upcoming Blazers will receive a 10.0-inch infotainment screen, which is an upgrade of 2 inches. It’s also getting wireless charging capability. The RS model will also get a Nightshift Blue interior. The mid-sizer will continue to have its offering of a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, with an output of 228 horsepower, or a 3.6-liter V-6 producing 308 hp. Both powertrains will still be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel-drive (FWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) offerings.

SS Performance Variant

Recently, the division of General Motors announced that on top of its electrified version for the Blazer, it will be releasing a performance-centered SS trim. A teaser video that was released last week, (March 9), showed the SUV following a bundle of other announcements regarding electrics, encompassing the GMC Hummer EV and Chevy Silverado EV pickup trucks, which all use the brand’s Ultium battery technology.

A short time ago, Chevrolet showed us the first images of its Equinox EV, an electric SUV joining the company’s other compact crossover in their electrified form. Strutting a unique design, the newest Equinox will go on sale by the fall of next year. It was also at this time that the automaker mentioned its EV version of the Blazer, bringing along with it a performance SS model.

It’s worth noting that the teaser video doesn’t reveal too much. It opens up showing a charger being disconnected from a port behind the front left wheel. The second shot shows the charging port while also revealing black plastic cladding around the wheel well and what seems to be a sharply sloped hood. One can also get a quick glimpse of the Ss badge at the button of one of the wheel’s six spokes.

Chevrolet says that the Blazer will be its first EV to receive a performance SS badge when it’s introduced later this year. While the company didn’t explicitly mention this, it’s presumed that that EV version will be offered in a way that’s centered on comfort. The Blazer SS is set to go on sale in the Spring of next year, and it’s also expected that it will include the Ultium batteries.

The exact pricing will be revealed as we get closer to the on-sale date, but it likely won’t change too much from the current Blazer’s price ranging from $34,595, (plus destination fee) to $45,195, (plus destination fee).

KBB Says That The 2022 Chevy Equinox Is Comfortable and Under $30,000

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022

2022 Chevy Equinox

The 2022 Chevrolet Equinox SUV is getting high praise from the automotive editors at Kelley’s Blue Book (KBB). The Irvine, California-based vehicle valuation and automotive research company, recently put in the latest Equinox on its list of Most Comfortable Vehicles Available To Buy For Under $30,000.

The company that’s owned by the Cox Automotive subsidiary of Cox Enterprises published its list of most comfortable vehicles and deconstructed particular vehicles that they deem are the most spacious, tranquil, and ride the smoothest on the current market. The latest Equinox SUV ranked on this list, right ahead of the highly praised 2022 Honda Accord and incredible roomy 2022 Suburu Outback.

Editors at KBB gave high remarks over the design of the seats in the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, combined with its extensive cabin space and its excellent range of available in-car conveniences. Some of these comforts include standard keyless entry, push-button start, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four USB ports, the Teen Driver system, General Motors’ OnStar telematics system and subscription-based 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi.

More safety-oriented features consist of forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

Higher trims offer things like a power driver’s seat, surround-view camera, leather interior, and a power liftgate. The Premier trim gets a new automatic parking assist, while the RS model receives darkened exterior aesthetics and unique interior accents.

“A compact crossover with a comfortable interior, the Chevrolet Equinox offers a good range of standard and available features,” KBB says of the hot-selling Chevy. “Seating is plush and supportive with standard cloth surfaces that become leather on higher trims. Adding visual appeal is the RS trim with red contrast stitching. There’s ample room for five adults with good headroom and legroom for rear passengers. Available options include a power driver’s seat, heated seats, and a premium audio system.”

It wasn’t much of a surprise that the vast majority of these models happened to be crossovers, as vehicles in this segment are known for having a softer suspension and longer travel capability than regular passenger models. These types of vehicles are more equipped to handle potholes and grooves in the road, which is ideal for daily driving or long road trips.

These vehicles are also quite roomy and often consist of a great selection of standard active safety features. Having said that, there were some sedans that crawled their way into the bottom of the list, including the previously mentioned 2022 Honda Accord, as well as the 2022 Toyota Camry, 2022 Hyundai Sonata, and the 2022 Nissan Altima.

The high-ranking vehicle on KBB’s list was the 2022 Honda CR-V. Following this were the 2022 Toyota RAV4 and 2022 Subaru Forester.

The 2022 Chevy Tahoe’s Greatest Hits

Monday, February 14th, 2022

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe is a force to be reckoned with. This full-size SUV can easily haul families and all of their cargo supplies without fear of being cramped. It blends in well with the other aristocrats at high-end restaurants.

New features include a standard 12-inch digital driver information display, Buckle to Drive technology, Reverse Automatic Braking and Enhanced Trailer View available on the two upper trims, optional Sports Performance Package on the RST, and the Off-Road Performance package offered on the Z71.

Interior

As one may be able to guess from the exterior, the Tahoe’s cabin is indeed spacious, with plenty of room within its three rows and unbeatable comfort. There is plenty of room offered on the second-row seats, especially with its ability to slide and recline during long road trips. There are even optional dual 12.6-inch infotainment screens.

The independent rear suspension is a major plus for this SUV, as this is useful in expanding cargo space. Luggage space amounts to 25.5 cubic feet, only to expand to 72.6 cubic feet when seats from the third row. Second-row seats can also make a split, increasing the cargo room to an incredible 122.9 cubic feet of space. Clearly, this model is no one-trick pony.

Standard Features

The base-level LS trim invites standard features like 8-inch alloy wheels, LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing wipers, heated side mirrors, side steps, keyless entry/ignition, remote start, 3-zone automatic climate control, cloth upholstery, two 120-volt outlets, programmable Teen Driver key, and power-adjustable front seats.

Safety features are plentiful with standard forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance/lane-departure warning, rear seat reminder, front/rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, and even the new Buckle to Drive.

Passengers can enjoy comforts like wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Wi-Fi, six USB ports, satellite radio, and Bluetooth.

While all of these features are great, it’s still recommended to at least upgrade to the LT, as this will welcome the new-for-2022 12-inch digital driver information display, memory settings for the driver’s seat, heated front seats, self-dimming rearview mirror, universal garage door opener, hands-free liftgate operation, and wireless charging. This trim also has the Bose 9-speaker audio system and navigation.

V8 Engine and Performance

The 2022 Tahoe offers three powertrains: 5.3-liter V8 (standard), 6.2-liter V8, and the 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel. High Country’s 6.2-liter has the best capability regarding speed and strength, delivering an output of 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It’s also optional on the RST, Z71, and Premier models.

The 10-speed automatic transmission takes advantage of this power by making quick yet inconspicuous shifts. These components manage to provide a stunning performance without feeling too busy.

Another impressive feature is the SUV’s towing capability. Again with the 6.2-L, the four-wheel-drive (4WD) model can haul up to 8,100 lbs, and when rightfully geared, it can max out at 8,400 lbs.

Miami Lakes Chevy

When it comes to the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, the world is truly your oyster. There are also plenty of factory options that can be had such as the Driver Alert Package (LT, RST, and Z71), new Off-Road Performance package (Z71), and new Reverse Automaking Braking (Premier and High Country).

There is even a Luxury package with a 360-degree camera system and rear pedestrian alert, plus self-dimming side mirrors, power-adjustable steering column, heated steering wheel, and heated outboard second-row seats (three higher trims).

You can enjoy all of these features by making your purchase of the latest Tahoe SUV at Miami Lakes Automall. We sell a wide range of vehicles from the brand ranging in various shapes and sizes. Those who are interested in this vehicle can simply view our online new car inventory for assistance.

The 2023 Chevy Blazer: Refreshed With Better Tech

Monday, February 7th, 2022

2023 Chevy Blazer

The Chevrolet Blazer crossover has been gussied up for 2023. This up-to-the-minute SUV brings on some minute alterations that make a considerable difference. New changes include touched-up exterior styling, a new infotainment screen, updated wheel designs, and added goodies for the newest model year. These developments make more improvements on a nearly perfect product.

Externally, the funky and fresh Blazer gets the special treatment with a new front fascia and grille. The LED headlights have been tweaked and made over. There are new daytime running lamps that make use of the same lighting technology, and the taillights are a fresh feature too.

Chevy even offers a new list of available wheel sizes: 18-, 20-, and 21-inches. Potential buyers also have a new selection of paint colors, such as Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.

From the inside, drivers and passengers are treated like kings, as the cabin has a new touchscreen infotainment display that measures out to an expansive 10 inches. This display serves as a standard on each and every model, it’s also considered to be an impressive upgrade from 2021’s 8-inch screen. New 2023 Blazer also gets a standard wireless charging pad for mobile devices, while RS’s also get a new interior hue dubbed Nightshift Blue.

Blazer shoppers have four trim levels to choose from: 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. An all-wheel-drive (AWD) system can be had on LT’s and Premier models, though a more developed twin-clutch AWD system is offered on RS models. Chevy also puts your safety first by expanding adaptive cruise control on lesser trims. There are also a great number of standard driver-assist features such as lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and forward collision alert.

Regarding what’s beneath the hood, there aren’t too many details. Two engines are offered, with the base being a 228-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-four, while the 3.6-liter V6 speeds up to 308 horsepower. The V6 is reserved for the RS model but is available for 3LTs and Premieres. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Since its recent inception, the Blazer crossover has been regarded as a fashion staple in the automotive industry, voguing it out with rivals like the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano. It’s also quite versatile, with the 2023 model serving 30.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back seats and 64.2 cubic feet with the 2nd-row seats folded.

At the current moment, we do not know the exact pricing for this vehicle. If all goes well, meaning that Chevy doesn’t face production delays or more hiccups from the ongoing semiconductor shortage, the 2023 Blazer should be heading to dealerships this summer.

The Latest Scoop On The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer

Monday, January 24th, 2022

2024 Chevy Blazer EV

The Chevrolet Blazer crossover is one of the most attractive SUVs in its segment, and perhaps in the car industry. The reason is likely that it borrows design elements from its cousin, the Camaro sports car. While it doesn’t embody the same rugged formation as the original, that hasn’t affected its ability to seduce new buyers.

For all that, there are some that wonder whether the current model will mirror the same impact with its electric version. General Motors Chair and CEO, Mary Bara, revealed at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) that the Blazer’s internal combustion engine would soon retire, and in its place would be an electric powertrain for the 2024 model year, the same ringing true for the Equinox model.

While the company didn’t show any teaser images for the upcoming electric midsize SUV, it did however give us a sneak peek of the Equinox EV. In fact, car site, CarBuzz, used the Equinox teaser images to serve as inspiration for what they think the 2024 Blazer might look like.

They added on charming design elements such as a full-width LED light bar with headlight clusters that fence off the core unique design piece. They also incorporated a ridged grille panel, a two-toned roof, and large wheels. Then, they added an adaptive version of the Equinox EV’s lighting grille, which joins each side of the vehicle at the same time a roof spoiler and roof rails are also included. There are even ultra-modern flush door handles that also correspond with the Chevrolet design style.

Overall, there is an expectation that the automaker won’t veer off from its usual design cues for the upcoming Blazer. Rather, it’s probable that Chevrolet will take on their traditional styling elements while maintaining the feel of the current SUV design.

One should expect to see the sustainable 2024 Chevrolet Blazer in the spring of 2023 to complement other chargeable offerings like the Silverado EV. When General Motors revealed its new replacement for the Blazer at this year’s CES, they only divulged the expected reveal date and that it would be derived from the company’s Ultium platform.

Seeing that the tri-motor configuration supporting the GMC Hummer EV is currently only made for large vehicles, we’re guessing that the Blazer will inhabit single- and dual-motor options, with the second possibly offering an output of over 580 horsepower.

Several trims will also be offered, with one of them likely being an RS model, with some crossing their fingers that it will have more power and handling than other Chevy models, rather than just good looks. Regarding the base-level trim, it’s likely that it will be priced around $35,000, (plus destination fee), as the company is aiming to make electrics more affordable.

Miami Lakes Chevrolet

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more updates regarding the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer and any other Chevrolet models.
