Chevy Corvette C8 Has Expanded Customization Options

These include the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. The 1LT coupe is the most affordable option while the 3LT coupe starts at $73,850 (plus destination fee). Each trim offers more in terms of luxury and comfort with the 3LT offering the highest standard of luxury. Customers can then choose their desired color scheme. 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 to Feature Impressive Top Speed

Thursday, May 26th, 2022

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is set to release to the public soon. The high-performance luxury sports car has been revitalized for the new model year and will come equipped with a more powerful engine. While the 2022 Corvette was rated 10Best by Car and Driver and remains as popular as ever, Chevrolet has begun to phase out production of the 2022 sports car in favor of the 2023 model. This isn’t a bad thing as the 2023 Corvette will feature an improved engine as well as a new look. An options list has already been released, so fans can start to customize their preferred Corvette exactly how they want it. Specific details about the performance standards have yet to be released, but according to information from a leaked owner’s manual, the 2023 Corvette Z06 will have a top speed exceeding 200 mph. We’ll take a closer look at this metric and see what fans can expect from the new luxury sports car.

2023 Corvette Z06 Will Have High Top Speed

The 2023 Corvette Z06 will soon release to the public. Order books have opened and customers have been able to customize their Corvette the way they want with a new online visualizer tool. Chevrolet has allowed an assortment of colors as well as package options so customers can choose their desired sports car. Other option choices include the roof, wheels, and interior colors. While the 2023 Corvette Z06 is set to debut soon, only general information about the sports car’s performance standards has been released.

The 2023 Corvette Z06 is set to come equipped with a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 engine that’s capable of 670 horsepower and 460lb-ft of torque. This engine will churn that out at 8,400 rpm and it will also be able to generate 734 pounds of downforce when equipped with front dive planes and a rear wing. Thanks to the new Magnetic Selective Ride Control feature, owners will also enjoy impressive handling even at high speeds.

According to a recent leak, many are speculating that the 2023 Corvette Z06 will have a top speed exceeding 200 mph. The information inside the owner’s manual was leaked detailing the correct shifting points based on the minimum and maximum speeds. It stated that 188 mph was the max speed at which a driver could downshift from sixth to fifth gear. Since 188 mph is the minimum downshifting point into fifth gear, it’s likely that the luxury sports car will be able to exceed 188 mph while in sixth gear. This is especially likely given that the base Corvette has an official top speed of 194 mph. We’ll have to wait for the luxury sports car to release to confirm, but fans should rejoice that the 2023 Corvette Z06 will have such an impressive top speed.

The 2023 Chevy Blazer Gets An Upgrade With Its Powertrain and Performance

Monday, March 14th, 2022

2023 Chevy Blazer

Towards the beginning of this year, Chevrolet revealed that they would release their mid-size Blazer in 2023, in an electrified form. However, before this SUV dumps the gasoline pump, the automaker is still giving its standard Blazer a revamp for next year, involving the enhancement of its styling on the outer body and augmenting the interior with a larger touchscreen.

While the visual details for the upcoming Blazer are nearly inconspicuous, the interior shakes things up with its high-mounted LED running lights, which are sleeker and bleed into a new grille design. This grille design is now mated to the central headlight unit through a C-formed trim piece.

Going to the back, you’ll see that the taillights receive new LED light signatures. There are also new available wheel designs: 18-, 20-, and 21-inch. Along with these new kicks are a slew of paint colors, which encompass Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.

Inhouse, all upcoming Blazers will receive a 10.0-inch infotainment screen, which is an upgrade of 2 inches. It’s also getting wireless charging capability. The RS model will also get a Nightshift Blue interior. The mid-sizer will continue to have its offering of a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, with an output of 228 horsepower, or a 3.6-liter V-6 producing 308 hp. Both powertrains will still be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel-drive (FWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) offerings.

SS Performance Variant

Recently, the division of General Motors announced that on top of its electrified version for the Blazer, it will be releasing a performance-centered SS trim. A teaser video that was released last week, (March 9), showed the SUV following a bundle of other announcements regarding electrics, encompassing the GMC Hummer EV and Chevy Silverado EV pickup trucks, which all use the brand’s Ultium battery technology.

A short time ago, Chevrolet showed us the first images of its Equinox EV, an electric SUV joining the company’s other compact crossover in their electrified form. Strutting a unique design, the newest Equinox will go on sale by the fall of next year. It was also at this time that the automaker mentioned its EV version of the Blazer, bringing along with it a performance SS model.

It’s worth noting that the teaser video doesn’t reveal too much. It opens up showing a charger being disconnected from a port behind the front left wheel. The second shot shows the charging port while also revealing black plastic cladding around the wheel well and what seems to be a sharply sloped hood. One can also get a quick glimpse of the Ss badge at the button of one of the wheel’s six spokes.

Chevrolet says that the Blazer will be its first EV to receive a performance SS badge when it’s introduced later this year. While the company didn’t explicitly mention this, it’s presumed that that EV version will be offered in a way that’s centered on comfort. The Blazer SS is set to go on sale in the Spring of next year, and it’s also expected that it will include the Ultium batteries.

The exact pricing will be revealed as we get closer to the on-sale date, but it likely won’t change too much from the current Blazer’s price ranging from $34,595, (plus destination fee) to $45,195, (plus destination fee).

2023 Chevy Blazer to Feature New Styling

Friday, February 18th, 2022

Chevrolet will be updating the 2023 Chevy Blazer for the new model year. The midsize crossover SUV will receive new exterior styling as well as an interior makeover. Chevrolet, like many other automakers, has been focusing on electric vehicles. The automaker recently announced its first EV, the Chevrolet Silverado EV. Although not much is known about the electric pickup, it’s a good sign of Chevy’s progress in adopting the new EV trend. This doesn’t mean that Chevy will ignore the rest of its lineup, however. As we see with the 2023 Blazer, Chevrolet will continue to provide consumers with the latest updates and technology features. Last year, the 2022 Blazer was given a Recommended rating by the non-profit organization Consumer Reports. For the 2023 Blazer, we expect the same amount of attention to detail so we’ll dive in and see what consumers can expect.

2023 Chevy Blazer Receives New Styling

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will be receiving a new exterior and interior update. The midsize crossover SUV has done well since its reintroduction in 2019. As a fifth-generation vehicle, the 2023 Blazer offers the latest in technology and safety features. Chevrolet has said that it will be electrifying the midsize crossover later in 2023, but for now, the automaker will be improving it with a facelift. There will also be improvements to the interior cabin.

Looking at the new 2023 Chevy Blazer, consumers will first note the new LED running lights. These have been slimmed down and now flow into a new grille design that is linked to the main headlight unit. In the back, the taillights also see new LED light signatures. New 18-inch, 20-inch, and 21-inch wheel designs will be available with a new series of paint colors including Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiat Red Tintcoat.

Inside the 2023 Blazer, owners will note a new 10-inch center screen. This will come with wireless charging capabilities. There’s also a new material available for the RS trim, the Nightshift Blue. This imbues the interior cabin with a soft dark blue hue. As for the engine, the 2023 Blazer offers either a turbocharged 2.0L inline-four engine or a 3.6L V6 engine. Both engines pair with a nine-speed automatic transmission and the crossover SUV can come with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The 2023 Chevy Blazer will be available in the summer of 2022. Pricing has not yet been released, but it’s likely that the crossover SUV will fall between the current Blazer’s price of $34,595 and $45,195 (plus destination fee).

GM Says 2023 Chevy Corvette Will Arrive Soon

Friday, January 28th, 2022
2023-chevrolet-corvette

General Motors (GM) will be opening up the dealer order guide for the 2023 Chevy Corvette in March of 2022. GM will also be cutting production of the 2022 Corvette soon after this. It seems that the automaker wants to phase out older models and reign in new ones. This has always been the course for automakers and these days with the transition toward EVs on the forefront, automakers must keep their consumers happy, even as they plan new models like the Silverado EV. Fans of the luxury sports car can rejoice however as the new Corvette will feature a brand new V8 engine. It will also feature some minor cosmetic and option changes. We’ll move along and see what else we can expect from the new Corvette.

2023 Corvette Receives Production Date

General Motors will be starting production of the 2023 Corvette on May 9th, 2022. The luxury sports car will see its dealer order guide become available shortly before that, March 21st, 2022. This information comes from the Corvette Action Center site. According to the site, key dates and information about the 2023 Corvette were sent to various Chevy dealers from GM. With the information making the rounds, consumers and fans alike are excited for a new iteration of the iconic corvette.

Consumers can expect to see the 2023 Chevy Corvette become available around March of 2022. The dealer order guide will become available on March 21st and dealers will be able to place orders three days later on March 24th. The online configurator will also be made available. Later on March 31st, dealers will be able to pair their orders with Corvette allocations. Sometime after this in May, the 2022 Corvette will cease production. Though the 2022 Corvette will have spent just 8 months in production, it’s clear GM is making room to bring the better and badder 2023 Corvette out to consumers. As mentioned, it is expected to come equipped with a more powerful V8 engine as well as some cosmetic changes.

Consumers can expect to see the 2023 Chevy Corvette available for purchase in the Spring of 2022. Although the 2022 Corvette will see the end of its production, those looking forward to the 2023 version will be more than happy to know they’re getting a more powerful and improved Corvette. It’s not certain whether GM will increase the price of the 2023 Corvette, but we can expect to see a starting MSRP of around $60,000 (plus destination fee). We’ll be staying tuned for more information.

Chevy Silverado EV to Enter Production in Early 2023

Tuesday, December 14th, 2021

General Motors (GM) has been working on its own electric vehicles for some time. The all-electric Silverado and Hummer EV have been stirring up a lot of excitement given their apparent features. The 2022 GMC Hummer EV will be the first electric vehicle to go on sale, and the Silverado EV will follow a year later. According to GM, the Silverado EV will enter production in early 2023. The all-electric truck will make its first public debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January (2022). The pickup is slated to go on sale in the latter half of 2023.

Electric Silverado to Soon Enter Production

The 2023 Chevy Silverado will be built on General Motors’ Ultium battery pack and electric drivetrain. This is the same system used for the GMC Hummer EV. In fact, GM plans to also use this system for its other upcoming EVs like the Cadillac Lyriq. Using this new system, GM hopes to attain 400 miles of range for the Silverado. If this proves obtainable and feasible, GM may see itself rocketing ahead of competitors given that range issues are one of the bigger deterrents for consumers looking at EVs. Despite the issues with range, it seems that consumers are still showing a lot of interest in electric vehicles. Other automakers like Ford have seen continued interest in their electric vehicles as evidenced by their reservation orders. GM will have to play a bit of catch-up here, but with constant attention and focus, they can make themselves known as one of the go-to industry leaders for EVs.

The all-electric Silverado pickup will be built at GM’s EV plant Factory Zero in Detroit, Michigan. The Hummer EV will also be built at the same location as Cruise Origin, GM’s autonomous shuttle. For the Silverado, GM will be planning to offer both a consumer and fleet version of the electric pickup. The pickup will feature all-wheel steering and it will come with a fixed-glass roof which is a design element many automakers have been opting for in newer vehicles. Upon its release, the Silverado may have some tough competition from automakers like Ford, Tesla, and even Rivian. It doesn’t seem like GM will be backing down though.

The 2023 Chevy Silverado will be one of GM’s primary flagship vehicles. The automaker will also be spending at least $35 billion on electrification and electric vehicles. We’ll have to wait for more information at the CES show, but GM CEO Mary Barra will be speaking during a keynote speech so we should learn some important details about GM’s plans for the future of EVs.
