The winner of the auction will not only receive the NFT, but also a free 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06. This auction comes during an extremely volatile time for the NFT and cryptocurrency sphere. Despite this turbulent time, Chevy sees an opportunity to breach into a popular sector. By hosting an NFT auction, Chevrolet can market itself to a new audience while advertising its high-performance Corvette. The auction will be called the ‘Own the Color’ auction and it will take place between June 20th and June 24th, 2022. Bids for the NFT will only be accepted in Ethereum coins. We’ll take a closer look at the details and see what consumers can expect.

Corvette NFT Will Come with Free 2023 Corvette Z06

Chevrolet will be hosting an auction for an NFT of the all-new 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06. Taking place between June 20th and June 24th, 2022, the auction will be called the ‘Own the Color’ auction. Bids for the NFT will only be accepted in Ethereum coins. The lucky winner will not only receive the NFT, but also a free 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06. Although cryptocurrency and NFTs have taken a recent hit due to extreme volatility, this auction is a good opportunity for Chevrolet to branch into a new space. About the auction, Chevrolet’s vice president of marketing Steve Majoros said,

“[The] Own the Color NFT is an important stepping stone for Chevrolet into future digital initiatives for our customers.”

The Corvette Z06 NFT will feature an exclusive Minted Green color. Along with the NFT, the winner will receive a Minted Green 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06. This Z06 will come equipped with the Z07 performance package as well as carbon fiber wheels. The performance package will increase the aerodynamics of the sports car by equipping it with spring and anti-roll bar rates. Paired with its 5.5L 670 horsepower V8 engine,  the Corvette Z06 will feature impressive performance and handling. In recognition of the auction, there’s also a signature plaque. Plus, for an even more futuristic feel, the VIN number will be in binary.

Chevrolet’s NFT auction will take place on an NFT trading site called SuperRare. It will occur between June 20th and June 24th and bidders will be able to place their offers with Ethereum coins. Chevrolet will not be taking any of the proceeds, however. Instead, the automaker will donate the proceeds to an educational non-profit organization called DonorsChoose. For those interested in winning a 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06, here’s your chance.

4 Reasons to Consider The 2022 Chevy Camaro

Friday, June 10th, 2022

As of late, Chevrolet has been busy updating its lineup with new improvements and more features. Iconic vehicles like the Chevy Corvette have received new powerful engines to help keep them ahead of the competition. Chevrolet has also been working on producing electric vehicles like the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV and 2023 Chevy Silverado EV. With so much going on, it’s a surprise that Chevy has still been able to keep up with some of its older vehicles. One such vehicle is the Chevy Camaro which is reportedly set to be replaced by an electric sedan. This coincides with General Motor’s goal to transition to an electric lineup by 2035, but if the Camaro is phased out, many fans will surely miss the sports car. As an affordable sports car, the Camaro has remained iconic with its great handling and high performance. As a sort of last hoo-rah, we’ll detail four reasons why the 2022 Chevy Camaro should be still considered despite the strong push toward EVs.

1. The 2022 Chevy Camaro Has Great Performance

The 2022 Chevy Camaro offers several engine choices. These include the base 2.0L turbocharged engine that’s capable of 275 horsepower and 295lb-ft torque. There’s also a 3.6L V6 engine capable of 335 horsepower and 284lb-ft of torque and a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine that’s capable of 650 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque. These engines depend on the Camaro trim level, but all offer quick acceleration with 0-60 mph times of 3.5 seconds to 5.4 seconds. The Camaro also has a dual-exhaust option as well as magnetic ride control which provides unparalleled stability and responsiveness.

2. The 2022 Camaro Has a Noteworthy Interior

Looking inside the 2022 Chevy Camaro, owners will note a modern interior with quality materials. The front seats are comfortable and the Camaro features a host of driver-assist features. These include a head-up display that provides drivers with data such as mph, rpm, and fuel level. Drivers can also make use of a driver mode selector which features several modes like sport, snow/ice, tour, and track. There’s also a performance data recorder that lets drivers keep a record of their time if they take to a track. For its infotainment system, the Camaro has an 8-inch touchscreen that supports Chevrolet’s Infotainment 3 system. This system is intuitive and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

3. The 2022 Camaro is Reliable

A third reason to consider the 2022 Camaro is its reliability. Chevrolet offers a powertrain warranty for five years or 60,000 miles as well as a limited warranty for three years or 36,000 miles. Aside from this, according to its reliability ratings, the Camaro has a score of 80 out of 100. For a high-performance sports car, that’s quite impressive as it means owners will save on trips to a mechanic.

4. The 2022 Chevy Camaro is Affordable

The fourth reason to consider the 2022 Chevy Camaro is its affordability. The high-performance sports car starts at an MSRP of $25,000 (plus destination fee). For a strong muscle car, this is a great price point given its capabilities. Those looking for more power and performance can opt for more expensive trims like the LT1 which has an MSRP of $34,000 (plus destination fee). From there, owners can go even higher in trims all the way to the ZL1 which starts at an MSRP of $63,000 (plus destination fee). For its power and performance, the 2022 Chevy Camaro is a great choice as a sports car that should still be considered in a wave of EVs.

2022 Chevrolet Camaro: All The Latest

Friday, June 3rd, 2022

America’s favorite muscle car comes back swinging with the 2022 Camaro, making some subtle changes like added exterior designs with the Design Package 3, the elimination of two new paint colors and the addition of two new ones, the discontinuation of the 1LE Track Performance Package for some variants, and the Brembo copper-free braking system for top Camaro’s.

Performance

The 2022 Chevrolet Camaro maintains its excellent selection of powertrains. Starting off with the standard 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine on the LS and LT trims, providing an output of 275 horsepower with 295 horsepower. The same trims get a significant boost when paired with the 3.6-liter V6, as it has an output of 335 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque.

The SS amplifies these figures with 455 horses for the 6.2-liter engine with matching numbers with its torque, with the supercharged version of the V8 outranking them all with an output of 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

Drive

All of these muscle manias use a 6-speed manual and the optional automatic which has a rev-matching automatic for V8s. The ride can be enhanced by the convertible body, as this does away with several blind spots once the roof is removed. All one has to do is simply lower the top with a push of the button and it will easily fold behind the back seat. Additionally, the blocking of the rain and wind noise is done seamlessly when the roof is up.

Exterior

The new Design Package 3 for the LT and SS trims involves 20-inch alloy wheels, satin black hood stripe, and aero accessories. There’s even a choice of other exterior elements for these models.

As far as the paint choices are concerned, Vivid Orange Metallic and Rapid Blue, while Crush orange and Shock/acid green are so last year.

Interior Features

The interior of the latest Camaro has better materials and a modernized look. Its front seats are quite cozy and its straightforward layout gives the car some extra brownie points. An optional head-up display is purposeful. This vehicle also can be had with programmable ambient interior lighting, allowing for some rather pleasing visuals. The Camaro is also unbeatable in regards to its cargo space and interior storage.

Entertainment

Standard comforts on the 1LS coupe involve 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry/ignition, single-zone automatic climate control, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather-wrapped/flat-bottomed steering wheel, limited-slip differential, and selectable driving modes.

Some other desirable features include a 7-inch touchscreen as part of the car’s infotainment system, which consists of wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Wi-Fi, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and a 6-speaker audio system. The 1LT provides a bit more bang for your buck by adding on dual-zone automatic climate control and satellite radio, along with eligibility for more options.

Chevrolet Teases All-New 2024 Chevy Equinox EV in New Trailer

Thursday, June 2nd, 2022

Chevrolet recently released another trailer featuring the all-new, all-electric 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. The fully electric SUV was teased in the past, but not much information was provided. This time, the new trailer shows off the inside of the all-electric SUV. Like many other automakers, Chevrolet has been working on producing a lineup of EVs. The automaker has teased its all-electric 2024 Chevy Silverado EV which is slated to feature 400 miles of battery range. There have also been rumors of an electric sedan in the works. For now, we’ll take a look at the new 2024 Equinox EV and see what was highlighted in the new trailer.

A Sneak Peek Inside the All-New 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

Chevrolet released a new trailer for its all-new 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. This new trailer provided consumers with an in-depth look at the interior of the electric SUV. Chevrolet had previously shown off the Equinox EV’s exterior with a short trailer video. In that clip, viewers saw narrow and slit-like headlights that flowed into the SUV’s grille bar. The front end and hood appeared soft and round and a charging port was seen on the driver’s side front fender. We also saw the smooth and flowy sides of the Equinox EV which wrapped around to the rear bumper. This latest video from Chevy gives us a preview of the inside of the electric SUV.

The new video from Chevrolet opens with a glowing Chevrolet logo atop a spinning Earth. There’s also a lunar eclipse occurring which alludes to the Chevy Equinox EV name. From here, we get a close-up shot of a circular HVAC vent which is located on either side of the SUV’s dashboard. Next, we get a view of the center console which features open storage space on the bottom. There’s also a cubby underneath the center stack. Along with this image, we’re shown ambient lighting on the passenger side of the dash and door panel which transitions from white to blue.

The final view of the Chevy Equinox EV is a wide-angle shot of the dashboard. Here we get a good sense of the interior design. The digital gauge cluster looks futuristic and the oval touchscreen appears to be massive. We also get a look at the steering wheel as well as what appears to be a column-mounted shifter. There are also USB-C ports in the center console along with two cup holders. This video may be short, but it does a good job of creating excitement for the all-new 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. According to Chevrolet, it’s set to arrive in the fall of 2023. We don’t have final pricing yet, but it’s rumored that the electric SUV will start at an MSRP of around $30,000.

2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 to Feature Impressive Top Speed

Thursday, May 26th, 2022

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is set to release to the public soon. The high-performance luxury sports car has been revitalized for the new model year and will come equipped with a more powerful engine. While the 2022 Corvette was rated 10Best by Car and Driver and remains as popular as ever, Chevrolet has begun to phase out production of the 2022 sports car in favor of the 2023 model. This isn’t a bad thing as the 2023 Corvette will feature an improved engine as well as a new look. An options list has already been released, so fans can start to customize their preferred Corvette exactly how they want it. Specific details about the performance standards have yet to be released, but according to information from a leaked owner’s manual, the 2023 Corvette Z06 will have a top speed exceeding 200 mph. We’ll take a closer look at this metric and see what fans can expect from the new luxury sports car.

2023 Corvette Z06 Will Have High Top Speed

The 2023 Corvette Z06 will soon release to the public. Order books have opened and customers have been able to customize their Corvette the way they want with a new online visualizer tool. Chevrolet has allowed an assortment of colors as well as package options so customers can choose their desired sports car. Other option choices include the roof, wheels, and interior colors. While the 2023 Corvette Z06 is set to debut soon, only general information about the sports car’s performance standards has been released.

The 2023 Corvette Z06 is set to come equipped with a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 engine that’s capable of 670 horsepower and 460lb-ft of torque. This engine will churn that out at 8,400 rpm and it will also be able to generate 734 pounds of downforce when equipped with front dive planes and a rear wing. Thanks to the new Magnetic Selective Ride Control feature, owners will also enjoy impressive handling even at high speeds.

According to a recent leak, many are speculating that the 2023 Corvette Z06 will have a top speed exceeding 200 mph. The information inside the owner’s manual was leaked detailing the correct shifting points based on the minimum and maximum speeds. It stated that 188 mph was the max speed at which a driver could downshift from sixth to fifth gear. Since 188 mph is the minimum downshifting point into fifth gear, it’s likely that the luxury sports car will be able to exceed 188 mph while in sixth gear. This is especially likely given that the base Corvette has an official top speed of 194 mph. We’ll have to wait for the luxury sports car to release to confirm, but fans should rejoice that the 2023 Corvette Z06 will have such an impressive top speed.

All-New 2024 Chevy Silverado EV To Feature 400 Miles of Range

Friday, April 22nd, 2022

The all-new all-electric Chevrolet Silverado EV is hoping to beat out competitors with its whopping 400 miles of battery range. The all-electric pickup truck will be Chevrolet’s second EV, following the Chevy Bolt. According to Chevrolet, the automaker wants to have at least 40% of its lineup consist of electric vehicles by the year 2025. This may seem bold, but the automaker has been steadily working toward new EVs like the Silverado EV and the Chevy Equinox EV. In producing new EVs, Chevrolet wants to ensure that they come equipped with high capability and performance. The Silverado EV is one of these as the automaker has said it will feature 400 miles of battery range, the most seen among current EV pickups. We’ll take a look at the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV and see what else consumers can expect.

2024 Chevy Silverado EV Will Outmatch Competitors

The all-new 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is slated to feature 400 miles of battery range. Currently, among all the EV pickups, this will be the largest battery range available. The all-electric Silverado will be built on General Motors’ new Ultium platform. The pickup will feature a dual-electric motor setup and will be available in two trims, a Work Truck (WT) trim, and a high-performance RST trim. The WT trim will be capable of 510 horsepower and 615lb-ft of torque while the RST trim will reach 664 horsepower and 780lb-ft of torque.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado will come available with a crew cab setup. Its exterior will feature a rather unconventional design as the EV pickup’s chassis is built around its battery pack. Its sail panel which is between the back of the passenger cabin and the top of the bed rail looks similar to the GMC Hummer EV. The pickup’s bed will feature dimensions of 5-feet, 11-inches in length, but with the mid-gate open and a configurable tailgate, this increases to 10-feet, 10-inches. The front end of the truck will be shorter to maximize driver visibility and increase passenger legroom. There will also be a frunk for extra storage space.

Inside the 2024 Silverado EV, owners will note a 17-inch LCD infotainment screen. There will also be an 11-inch instrument display with a head-up display on the windshield. As far as overall styling goes, the interior will likely feature a similar design to higher-end Chevy trims. With so much performance and capability, the 2024 Chevy Silverado looks to pose as a tough competitor for other EV pickups like the F-150 Lightning and Ram EV. For now, we’ll have to wait for its release date in 2023 to confirm whether it has what it takes to be the strongest EV pickup.

The all-electric Chevy Bolt has proven quite successful, but Chevrolet wants to produce even more. The latest of these new electric vehicles is the Chevy Silverado EV and the Chevy Equinox EV. Both have been teased, but not much information is available yet. For now, Chevrolet is focusing on improving its combustion engine lineup. We’ll dive into some of the expected changes and updates.

The RS trim will feature black 19-inch wheels, black exterior elements, and a black interior with red stitching.

This package will feature a 1-inch suspension lift, front and mid skid plates, red tow hooks, 17-inch black wheels, and all-terrain tires. GM Teases Chevy Equinox EV in Short Trailer

Friday, April 1st, 2022

Chevrolet recently released a short teaser video showcasing the all-new all-electric Chevrolet Equinox. The electric SUV is just one of the many EVs that Chevy is working on. Like many other automakers, Chevrolet has been working to produce a lineup of electric vehicles to help reduce global carbon emissions. The automaker has teased the electric Chevy Silverado and there have also been rumors of an electric Chevy Blazer. We’ll have to wait for more information about both, but for now, we’ll dive into the latest teaser video showing off the new electric Equinox.

Chevrolet Equinox EV Debuts

Chevrolet recently put out a teaser video for the all-new Chevrolet Equinox EV. The automaker had teased the new EV SUV earlier in the year at the 2022 CES show. There, Chevy showcased computer-generated renderings of the battery-powered SUV. Now Chevrolet is publishing a short teaser video depicting the SUV and its sleek design.

In the 30 second clip from Chevy, we can see that the Chevy Equinox EV has narrow and slit-like headlights that flow into the grille bar. The EV SUV seems to have a soft and round front end and hood. The front end appears friendly as though suited for families rather than aggressive. A charging port can be seen on the driver’s side front fender and the door handles are the pop-out style that seems to be common on electric vehicles.

Further along in the teaser video, we see the smooth and flowy sides of the Chevy Equinox EV. These wrap into the rear bumper which has the name Equinox stitched in grey metal. The ‘E’ in Equinox is the three-bar Ultium logo which alludes to the Ultium electric platform that GM is using for its EVs. The logo meshes well with the radiant blue color scheme of the SUV. Speaking of the color, it seems the Equinox EV has a two-tone paint scheme as the roof and A-pillars have a white contrast with the blue body.

The all-new Chevy Equinox EV is supposedly going to start at an MSRP of $30,000 (plus destination fee). We’ll have to wait for more details about the EV SUV, but based on the teaser video it looks to define a new era for Chevrolet.

iSeeCars Study Finds 2022 Chevy Tahoe Likely to Reach 200,000 Miles

Friday, March 25th, 2022

The 2022 Chevy Tahoe was recently categorized as one of the top vehicles to reach at least 200,000 miles in its lifetime. This analysis comes from the automotive research site iSeeCars. The online site focuses on data analysis to determine the various qualities of different vehicles. In order to discover whether the Chevy Tahoe could go beyond 200,000 miles, iSeeCars analyzed sales and registration data as well as the percentages of vehicles that surpassed the mile threshold. Several other Chevy models made the top list as well. This is good news for General Motors (GM) which has been in the spotlight recently for its all-electric 2023 Chevy Silverado. Like many automakers, GM has been focusing on electrifying its lineup. Despite the focus on EVs, we’re glad to see GM still prioritizing its gasoline models.

Chevy Tahoe Can Reach 200,000 Miles

According to a recent top 15 list by iSeeCars, the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe is more than capable of reaching 200,000 miles within its lifetime. This analysis comes from the automotive research site iSeeCars which utilized sale and registration data to determine the capability of the Chevy Tahoe. The online site also utilized the percentage of units from specific models that had surpassed this mile threshold. About the Tahoe, iSeeCars analyst Karl Brauer said,

“All manufactured by General Motors, the Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, and Chevrolet Tahoe share a platform and many common parts, confirming why these popular family vehicles are all likely to last 200,000 miles,” Brauer said.

According to iSeeCars’ top 15 list, the 2022 Chevy Tahoe placed seventh. This means that of all the Chevy Tahoes currently registered in the US, 4.4 percent of them have 200,000 or more miles. As a family-size SUV, this reliability is a great asset for the Tahoe. Other GM vehicles also made the list. These included the Chevy Suburban in 3rd place with 6.6 percent and the GMC Yukon XL in 4th with 5.2 percent.

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe starts at an MSRP of $50,200 (plus destination fee). The full-size family SUV was revamped for the 2022 model year, so it features improved handling, a more spacious interior, and GM’s advanced safety features.
