2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4
Mitsubishi Motors may seem like an all-SUV automaker, and with its recent discontinuation of the Mirage hatchback, the claim sounds true. It’s all too easy to forget about the Mitsubishi sedan still pushing along in the lineup. Known as the Mitsubishi Mirage G4, this model is still going strong. Check out the specs of the 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4.
The 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 comes with four trims – ES, LE, BE, and SE. Despite this, they all come with the same engine under the hood. Every 2024 Mirage G4 is powered by a 1.2-liter Inline 3-cylinder DOHC engine, able to generate 76 horsepower and 75 lb-ft of torque. For maximum fuel economy, the engine is optimized with MIVEC, Mitsubishi Motors variable valve timing (VVT) technology.
Driving and Handling
All 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 trims come with continuously variable transmission (CVT) for easy switching between gears on the road. This leads to a standard fuel economy for all trims. A steady fuel economy of 35 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway is the standard for all trims.
Not very flashy, the 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 has LED tail lights as a standard, with LED low and high beam headlights and daytime running lights kept for the SE trim. Convenience features like automatic headlights start with the LE trim. The SE adds exterior mirrors with turn-signal indicators. The 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 ES comes equipped with 14-inch steel wheels wrapped in all-season tires, whereas the rest of the lineup comes equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, also wrapped in all-season tires. The Mirage G4 Black Edition (BE) comes with Black Edition badging, black A/C vent and center console trim, and fender effects. The Mirage G4 SE adds chrome wheel locks and SE badging.
All trims come standard with a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat and a 4-way power adjustable passenger’s seat. Comfort features like automatic climate control, steering wheel-mounted audio and phone controls, and rear heater ducts can also be found standard. Cloth upholstery is the only trimming available, but the BE trim adds red stitching to its seating. The SE trim adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats, whereas the SE and BE come with a leather-wrapped gear shift knob (with red stitching for the BE).
All trims come equipped with a 7-inch smartphone-link display, a four-speaker stereo system, Bluetooth wireless technology, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto capabilities, plus steering wheel-mounted audio, phone, and voice recognition controls.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 comes equipped with advanced dual-stage airbags (including the driver’s knee airbag), anti-locking brakes, active stability control, three-point seatbelts, a LATCH child seat tether system, a rearview camera, and an anti-theft engine immobilizer. Advanced safety features that come standard include forward collision mitigation system with pedestrian detection. Only the SE trim also comes with lane departure warning.
