Two trims make up the 2023 Kia Rio lineup – LX and S. Both are powered by a 1.6-liter I4 Cylinder engine optimized with multi-point injection. This engine is able to generate 120 horsepower and 112 lb-ft of torque.
Power is transmitted to the wheels via an intelligent variable transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is the drivetrain. The fuel economy is 32 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway.
Standard features of the 2023 Kia Rio include heated exterior mirrors, solar control glass, and automatic headlamps. LED headlights and positioning lights and high beam assist can be found on the S trim, available to add on the LX trim. 15-inch wheels are the lineup standard.
Both trims come with a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, tricot and woven cloth upholstery, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. The S trim comes with automatic climate control and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat.
The 2023 Kia Rio comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, but the S trim can upgrade to add Kia Connect and SiriusXM Radio.
