The powertrain is capable of producing 166 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque and it gives the Outlander an average fuel economy of 25 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
3.0L V6 Engine
The 2018 Outlander GT 3.0 S-AWC is equipped with a more powerful engine, and it is a 3.0-liter V6 engine that is paired to a 6-speed electronic automatic transmission. The 3.0L powertrain increases the Outlander’s power to 224 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque. Since the 3.0L engine is more powerful and larger, it has a different fuel economy, which is an average of 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
The 2018 Outlander comes standard with three-rows of seats and seating for seven passengers. The vehicle’s seats can easily be reconfigured based on a driver’s needs. For instance, a driver can fold down the vehicle’s second- and third-row seats.
