The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is available in three trims, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Touring Plus, Pacifica Hybrid Touring L and Pacifica Hybrid Limited. All Pacifica Hybrid trims are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 eHybrid engine that is paired to two dual electric motors that is powered by a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Pacifica Hybrid can be powered by one of three ways -- battery, engine or a combination of both.
With a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has a total driving range 566 miles and a combined city/highway hybrid fuel economy of 84 MPGe. When the Pacifica Hybrid is only powered by its battery, it has a total driving range of 33 miles. The best part? No tailpipe emissions are released during those 33 miles of driving range. When powered solely by the 3.6-liter V6 engine, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has a combined fuel economy of 32 mpg.
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is available with two chargers -- a Level 1 and a Level 2. The standard level 1 charger is 140 volts and can fully charge the Pacifica Hybrid in 14 hours. The level 2 charger is 240 volts and can recharge the Pacifica Hybrid’s battery up to 80 percent full in just two hours. For those consumers looking to charge their Pacifica Hybrid with the fast level 2 charger at all times, level 2 chargers can be installed by professionals at residential buildings.
It’s no secret that the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid definitely has some “curb appeal,” especially with its long and sleek exterior style. The Pacifica Hybrid Touring Plus and Touring L trims come standard with 17-inch x 7-inch aluminum wheels, while the Hybrid Limited offers 17-inch x 7-inch polished aluminum wheels (optional for the Pacifica Hybrid Touring L). All trims share 235/65R17 BSW all season tires. The Hybrid Limited also has the available option of 18-inch x 7.5-inch polished aluminum wheels and 235 / 60R18 BSW all season tires.
Consumers have the option of 10 different exterior colors, as well as the choice between a chrome or black grille. In addition to cargo space, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid also offers up to 243 different seating configurations to accommodate objects of all shapes and sizes.
The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is not only a fan favorite for eco-friendly consumers, but the Pacifica Hybrid is also a big hit for families and music lovers. For starters, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display that includes Apple CarPlay/Google Android Auto capabilities are standard on all three trims. In addition to the 8.4-inch display, the Pacifica Hybrid Touring Plus and Touring L trims come standard with the Uconnect 4 and the Pacifica Hybrid Limited trim is standard equipped with the Uconnect 4C NAV. Furthermore, integrated voice command with Bluetooth and a complimentary one-year subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio are also standard features on the Pacifica Hybrid Touring Plus, Touring L and Limited trim levels. Every 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is standard equipped with a ParkView rear backup camera, passenger inflatable knee-bolster airbags, pedestrian warning speaker, sliding door alert warning, and supplemental front seat-mounted side airbags which are also offered in all rows. The Hybrid Limited trim is standard with a number of upgrade advanced safety features like, 360-degree surround view camera system, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, advanced brake assist, full speed forward collision and lane departure warning plus, parallel and perpendicular park assist and lastly, ParkSense front park assist plus rear park assist with stop feature.
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Touring Plus has a starting MSRP of $39,995 (plus destination fee) and the upper-level trim, the Pacifica Hybrid Limited, has a starting MSRP of $44,995 (plus destination fee). The Pacifica Hybrid qualifies for a $7,500 federal tax credit, so consumers can apply for the credit when filing their taxes for the year the purchase was made.
Warranties include a three-year or 36,000-mile limited basic warranty and a five-year or 60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty on the gas engine, and the battery in the Pacifica Hybrid is backed by an 8-year or 100,000 or 150,000-mile warranty (depending on the state).
