The 2018 Chrysler 300 has five trims making up the lineup: the Touring, Touring Plus, 300S, Limited, and 300C. Every trim, but the 300C, is powered by the popular 292-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, optimized with variable valve timing (VVT) technology for superb performance. The Chrysler 300C is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine, which produces best-in-class horsepower of 363-horses. Optimized with VVT and a multi-displacement system (MDS) to conserve fuel economy, the 5.7L HEMI is an available engine option to buyers of the 300S.
Driving and Handling
All 2018 Chrysler 300 trims are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Trims powered by the Pentastar V6 engine average 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, and the 300C has a fuel economy of 16/25 mpg city/highway.
Not only does the 2018 Chrysler 300 have a bold style that gives it a signature look, but nearly every trim looks as good as the last. The entire 2018 Chrysler 300 lineup comes with Uconnect 4C on an 8.4-inch touchscreen with steering wheel mounted audio controls, integrated voice command with Bluetooth, HD Radio, Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, and a six-speaker system. The 2018 Chrysler 300S can upgrade to a Beats Audio ten premium speaker system with subwoofer. The ability to upgrade to Uconnect 4C with navigation is available on all trims but the base (Touring).
