The Jeep Gladiator Lineup Just Got a Little Bigger

Jeep is introducing an additional trim for its 2020 Jeep Gladiator model. The Altitude trim delivers not only a distinct appearance with Jeep’s 4×4 capability, it also delivers a new level of personalized content. The Jeep Gladiator Altitude trim will be available early in the third quarter in Jeep showrooms.

“Our Jeep Gladiator Altitude model is a direct response to customers who ask for a ‘blacked-out’ look directly from the factory. The Jeep Altitude models continue to resonate with customers and adding Gladiator completes this lineup. We are thrilled that the popular Altitude model joins the Gladiator lineup and is another way for Jeep to connect with customers,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand — FCA North America.

Jeep Gladiator Altitude

On the outside, the Jeep Gladiator Altitude features a body-color grille with Dark Gray headlamp rings, black Jeep and Trail Rated badges, 18-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels, Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain tires, and body-color fender flares. Standard on the Gladiator Altitude is a black Freedom hardtop, but the dual top remains an available upgrade. On the inside, the Gladiator Altitude comes with standard black cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with black stitching, and a Wizard Black panel mid-bolster and bezels.

The Jeep Gladiator was engineered from the ground up to reign supreme as the brand’s most off-road capable pickup after a 27-year absence in the segment. The Gladiator offers authentic Jeep design, open-air freedom, versatility and functionality, all while giving buyers the chance to drive a dependable and rugged pickup built on a rich heritage of the tough “Go Anywhere. Do Anything.” attitude.

A 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine rests under the hood of the Jeep Gladiator, offering up to 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, along with a towing capability of up to 7,650 pounds when properly equipped. Those with an active lifestyle can benefit from the Gladiator’s open-air driving experience for a feeling that’s unmistakably Jeep, all while the pickup can conquer numerous types of off-road terrain without breaking a sweat. Between the traditional Jeep attributes and the Gladiator’s strong truck credentials, buyers can’t go wrong with a vehicle dedicated to taking passengers and cargo anywhere.

All Gladiator pickups, regardless of trim, are Trail Rated and feature a badge designation that indicates the vehicle is engineered to perform in a variety of off-road conditions. The off-road conditions put five different key consumer categories to the test, including: traction, water fording, ground clearance, articulation, and maneuverability. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Altitude has a starting price of $40,340 (plus $1,495 destination fee) and is available in Black, Firecracker Red, White, Granite Crystal, Gobi, Gator, Billet Silver, Sting Gray, and Hydro Blue.
