Jeep is launching something new — its first #JeepTopCanine competition this summer (2020), in the lead up to National Dog Day on August 26. Plenty of enthisiasts are known for taking their dogs on the road with them as they seek out adventure. This is yet another opportunity for the brand to harness even more good faith with its enthusiasts. Jeepers have been posting photos of their canine buddies next to their Jeep vehicles on social media over the years, and now Jeep is intending to capitalize on the trend. The #JeepTopCanine contest asks that Jeep owners, fans, and followers post the best photo of their four-legged companion with any Jeep brand vehicle on social media while using the hashtag. Additionally, those looking to participate can also upload their photo to www.JeepTopCanine.com.
The winning dog doesn’t just get the honor of being the winner, it’ll also be the face of the Jeep brand across the automaker’s social media channels for the coming year. The winning pup will appear in exclusive content for Jeep, for the next year, until the contract expires on National Dog Day 2021. The window of opportunity to submit a qualifying photo closes on Monday, August 3 (2020). Once submissions are closed, Jeep is tasked with selecting eight finalists and letting fans vote for their favorite from August 11-18.
