Though a new generation Wrangler, called the Wrangler JL, is supposed to be released sometime in 2018, Jeep has introduced two new trims to the 2018 Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited JK before production ends. The new trims are the Golden Eagle and Altitude and they offer some cool new features on the Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited lineups.
2018 Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited JK Golden Eagle
As the name suggests, the new Golden Eagle model has a lot of gold-colored accents and details that give the model a unique appearance. The vehicle has a tan soft top, tan half doors and tow hooks, headlamp rings and Jeep badging that are bronze. The vehicle also has a unique Golden Eagle decal on the center of the top of the hood and on the sides. The Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited Golden Eagle models ride on 17-inch bronze rims and BFGoodrich KO2 tires. The interior of the new models feature black cloth seats and bronze accent stitching on the seats and throughout the cabin. The seats also have the same Golden Eagle logo that is on the vehicle’s hood.
2018 Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited Altitude
Available on a few other Jeep models, the new Altitude trim is a great trim option for people who want a mix of premium and entry-level features. The new Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited Altitude models are equipped with comfortable black leather seats and a black leather-wrapped steering wheel. To keep up the black scheme on the outside of the vehicle, the Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited Altitude models have a body-color grille and High Gloss Black throats, head lamp rings, front and rear bumper appliques, as well as black tail lamps guards and fuel fill door. Inspired by the Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, the Altitude features a power bulge hood that adds unique character.
