The Dodge Charger has experienced growth in 2019 with new special editions on the horizon and some that have recently appeared. Many customers are awaiting the upcoming 2020 Dodge Charger, which should be arriving in dealerships later during the fall of 2019. We’re just as excited to see the latest Charger as there will be no stopping the success of this muscle sedan that keeps selling well despite the sedan segment slowing down in the automotive industry. The first-ever Dodge Charger SRT Widebody has added new attention to the Dodge muscle car fanbase, which is among the youngest compared to the competition. We’re ready to take our readers on a journey through the future of the Dodge Charger.

How the Dodge Charger Is Still So Successful

Despite not changing the body and frame of the Dodge Charger for over a decade, the Dodge Charger is still popular. The newest special edition is the 50th anniversary Dodge Charger Daytona Edition, which looks great and is a rare find with only 501 models made. Dodge and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) have more than a limited edition coming for the 2020 Charger. For those who can’t wait to get their hands on pure Dodge muscle, a promotion is running through September known as the Power Dollars promotion that buyers can still enjoy if they hurry.

More On the 2019 Sales

Now through September 30th, 2019, the Dodge Power Dollars promotion is a great incentive for those hoping for a wonderful deal to drive home a new 2019 Charger. The Power Dollars promotion helps buyers gain a cash rebate of $10 for each unit of horsepower in the vehicle they are purchasing. Customers that opt for the acclaimed top-tier Charger, the SRT Hellcat, can save an amazing $7,070. The rebate for this promotion applies to all trims of the latest Charger. The Dodge promotion is also available to other vehicles of the Dodge family, including the 2019 Dodge Challenger and 2019 Dodge Durango as well. For fans of these high-performance Dodge vehicles, this is the time to take them home on a fantastic deal.

Thinking About the New Widebody?

Dodge can thank the Charger for an 8.8% increase in vehicle sales through the first half of 2019 versus the previous year, raising its total to 45,046 vehicles sold. We know buyers want to finally get their hands on the first widebody ever made for the Charger. The Widebody trim will provide drivers with extra rubber on the tires, more horsepower and greater traction for owners. Though the sedan market has seen declining sales, the Dodge Charger has only experienced increased sales. Speaking on the greatness of the Charger, Kevin Hellman, Dodge brand manager talked about the current state of the sedan market and the Dodge Charger and the upcoming Widebody trim.

“There are people that have been doing it in the aftermarket here and there, but I think directly from us is really what people have been waiting for. Other than the additional performance that we’ve added in terms of getting the grip to the ground, the car looks beautiful, too.” – Kevin Hellman, Dodge Brand Manager
