Finding a minivan that is accommodating, full of top-of-the-line specs, and is also stylish is not that hard when you’re looking at the Chrysler Pacifica. The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica has six trim levels, and they are the L, LX, Touring Plus, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and the Limited, and they each have unique technology features and safety systems. 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Trim Level Comparison
The standard engine on all six trim levels on the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica is the 3.6L Pentastar V6 which rations 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and. The top five trim levels get the Engine Stop-Start (ESS) Technology, and that produces increased fuel economy. Both engines work with a Torqueflite 9-Speed Automatic Transmission for EPA estimated fuel economy specs which deliver 18 MPG City and 28 MPG HWY, and with the ESS in-city MPG increases to 19 MPG while in the highway it stays the same at 28 MPG.
All six trim levels of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica also have standard seating for seven people and the option of eight passenger seating when you opt for the second-row bench seat. All trim levels feature a 60/40 split-folding bench seat with third-row fold-in-floor but the base trim level, the L, have second & third-row Stow ’n Go Seats for cargo and passenger which makes it easier for loading and unloading. Cloth seating is typical on the bottom three trim levels while on the Touring L and Touring L Plus trim levels it has the option of Perforated Leather Seats and the 2019 Pacifica Limited gets Nappa Leather-Trimmed Seats.
It comes with heated front seats, and it comes standard on the upper three trim levels, and heated rear seats are standard inside two trims, the Touring L Plus, and Limited trims. The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica also gets equipped with a standard 7” Touchscreen Display. The high two trim levels receive an 8.4” Touchscreen. The Touring L Plus and Limited trims also get a standard 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, a 13-Speaker Alpine Stereo, and a 7“ Color Digital Driver Information Center.
2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Trim Level Comparison
The plug-in hybrid is efficient enough to travel 32 miles on electricity after the battery is recharged. Even when exceeding that 32-mile range, it’s still a hybrid that’ll significantly exceed every other minivan’s fuel economy. Adding that battery weight actually improves the Pacifica.
The second-row seats, which are also available in the standard Pacifica, are also comfortable since they don’t fold flat into the floor. The same advantages that the regular Chrysler Pacifica offers are also offered in the plug-in hybrid. Included is its sharp styling and compelling technology.
The Pacific Hybrid is available with the S Appearance package, which adds an abundance of the black exterior trim. There’s also the 35th Anniversary special edition, which honors Chrysler 35 years in the market. Different trim levels also gain extra features.
What We Like
It has an unmatched fuel economy for a 7-passenger vehicle; family-friendly tech. It has classy styling inside and out, more comfortable second-row seats than regular Pacifica. The Pacifica Hybrid uses a variation of the daily van’s 3.6-liter V6 paired which is paired with two motor/generators and a large battery pack that is fully replenished by plugging into an outside electricity source. The total system outputs 260 horsepower.
Hybrid Features & Options
The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is available in the Touring Plus, Touring L and Limited trims. Standard equipment on the Touring Plus includes 17-in wheels, power-sliding doors, fog lamps, automatic headlights, blind spot monitoring, heated mirrors, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors. There’s also proximity entry and push-button start, a backup camera, one USB port, 3-zone automatic climate control. There’s an 8-way power driver seat, cloth upholstery, second-row captain’s chairs, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, an 8.4-in touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite and HD radios, and a 6-speaker sound system.
The Touring L adds a power liftgate, adjustable roof rails, rear side window shades, an upgraded front center console, leather upholstery, and the Cold Weather Group. Optional on the Touring trims is the Uconnect Theater with Wireless Streaming, which adds two 10-in seatback touchscreens, a 115-volt house-style electrical outlet, wireless headphones, video remote controls, three rear USB ports, an HDMI input, and a Blu-ray player.
The Limited adds sliding doors and a hands-free power liftgate, driver memory settings, power-folding, and driver-side auto-dimming exterior mirrors, and upgraded leather upholstery. There’s also a 20-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated front seats, the Uconnect Theater System and integrated navigation. The optional Advanced SafetyTec Group adds the forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist, plus adaptive cruise control, a surround-view parking system, an automated parking system, automatic wipers, and automatic high beam control.
The S Appearance package adds blacked-out exterior trim and black 18-in wheels, while also having unique interior trim. Available on the 35th Anniversary edition is the Limited and the Touring L. Add a unique “Cranberry Wine” stitching to light-colored leather upholstery, plus a 13-speaker Alpine sound system and integrated navigation (Touring L) or 18-inch wheels (Limited).
