Three trims are available for the Chevy Impala, The Chevy Impala LS, LT, and Premier. Each of these trims vary based on technology features, as well as exterior and interior styling features.
The Impala LS and LT both come equipped with a ECOTEC 2.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and auto fuel stop and start. The Impala Premier comes standard with a 3.6-liter DOHC V6 DI engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine is faster and more powerful as it produces 305-horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque. The 3.6-liter engine is an available option on the Impala LS and LT. The 3.6-liter V6 engine gets an estimated 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg when on the highway.
The Chevrolet Impala is a large 4-door sedan that combines athletic touches to live up to its sturdy, solid stance. The Chevrolet Impala LS and LT trims come standard with halogen headlights, and all-season blackwall tires. The LS also comes equipped with 18-inch steel wheels with fascia-spoke wheel covers, whereas the LT trim comes with 18-inch painted alloy wheels. The LS version is available in four different colors, while the LT trim comes in six standard colors, and two premium color options.
The Premier trim comes with upgraded high-intensity discharge headlights,19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels, and daytime running LED lamps. Differences between all of the Impala trims are most obvious in their interior finishes, tech and entertainment features. The Impala LS trim has jet black cloth interior bucket seats and remote keyless entry. Entertainment and tech features include an AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary input jack, a 4.2-inch color infotainment display, a USB port and SiriusXM satellite radio compatibilities. Regardless of the method being used to listen to music or mobile devices, audio plays through the vehicle’s 6-speed speaker system.
The Impala LT and Impala Premiere are equipped with an upgraded entertainment system, Chevrolet MyLink radio. This system includes an 8-inch digital infotainment display, Bluetooth2 streaming audio for music and smart phones, voice-activated technology for radio and phone, and Apple CarPlay.
